      I appreciate that, Mike thank you!
      I just applied that design to over 60 sf of countertops for the customer and it really turned out stunning (pics and tutorial to follow). So, my thanks to 2 chicks countertops for inspiring the customers and the challenge for me to re-create it.
      Love this stuff!!!! And thank you for commenting!

    What colors did you use on the background

    • @kcdcdesigns
      @kcdcdesigns  Місяць тому +1

      @@lindamcgunigal4985 White Pearl (JR paste), Pearl Shimmer (JR paste) and some Titanium White (JR paste).
      Did you notice how the fogged surface made a difference to the overall undertone look? In part because the the pearl colors were semi-translucent.
      Thanks for watching, and your question!

      @x420RoloGaming hey there, and you're welcome!
      My sample boards are usually 1/2" MDF.
      Thanks for watching and feel free to reach out if I can ever be of help.

      @@kcdcdesigns thank you so much! Do you buy a 4 x 8 board and cut it down to size? appreciate your help!

    • @kcdcdesigns
      @kcdcdesigns  Місяць тому +1

      @@x420RoloGaming Yes, but you can also get them in 2'x'4 if you don't want a full sheet. But a 4x8 sheet will give me 24 sample boards at 12" x 16"

      @@kcdcdesigns is that what you have here? 12" x 16"?

    • @kcdcdesigns
      @kcdcdesigns  Місяць тому +1

      @@x420RoloGaming I believe that one is 18" x 18" because it was too hard to represent that design on a 12" x 16". But most of the time I use the 12" x 16" as they're easier to carry to show customers.

    Tell me, how many times have you gone a step too much and completely ruined the look? Because I tend to do this with “one more idea.”

    • @tlrmd4you
      @tlrmd4you Місяць тому +1

      Btw, love all your work!!

    • @kcdcdesigns
      @kcdcdesigns  Місяць тому

      @tlrmd4you believe me, it happens!
      But with so much working time, nearly everything can be salvaged. And remember, just because YOU think you've ruined it, it's only because it didn't turn out the way YOU thought it should!
      Others will see it for what it actually is.
      Plus, make sure it's a learning experience, i.e., when to stop and when to walk away.
