@@Delta3angle not in my world. Holding spine in place by lifting ribs off hips, keeping ribs fitted over pelvis with a tall upper back, abdominals in and up, crown of the head to the ceiling. Posture is for everyone. We don't brace in Pilates.
@@annreinbeau nobody gets really strong doing pilates. Their bracing technique is all theory with no application at the highest levels of strength sports. There's a reason all high level powerlifters, strongmen, and weightlifters brace by pushing outwards.

Good info but, the use of the term 'bracing' can lead to a client 'pooching' out, rather than pulling in and up.
"Pooching" out is proper form. See powerlifters.
