Hey everyone! We really appreciate you watching! If you found this helpful, please consider subscribing as it helps us grow our channel. More subscribers makes us more attractive to publishers, which allows us to create more Buyer's Guides due to how costly and labour intensive these videos are. We need the help! :)
Thanks for the wonderful video! I personally do not enjoy worker placement games, but I watched this video from beginning to the end because I love the honest opinions you guys give!
Glad to hear! We really love making them...unfortunately they usually require us to have a lot of different things, which makes them a bit tough to do.
Nice summation! I pretty much agree with all your points. Having played Viticulture World 2 player and 5 player, base game, so far, I noted that it's a harder game at 2 player than at 5. Either way, pushing to get a lot of innovation tiles early suddenly leads to this big rush of options late game, which is really cool.
Thank you! I don't drink. However, I planted a grape arbor ~20 years ago so I think that is why I gravitated towards this game. I only have a handful of games where I have expansions and Viticulture is one of them. I have 'Viticulture Essentials' and 'Viticulture Tuscany Essentials' + 'Visit from the Rhine Valley'. I'll look into the others if we play these and want more.
Great vids, just running through your channel. Nice to get some more quality Brit content. currently at a loss for next purchase so looking to you for inspiration, liked and sub :) Viticulture has been in and out of my basket for months lol.
Thanks - useful video. I’m just a bit confused about the bit at the end. Did you say you played with the Tuscany expansion, except you kept the original board? Or do you just prefer to play the original game? 🤔
We were saying that although we do play Tuscany (all of it) we are just as likely to leave it out and play the base game alone. Because we don't like the flow of the game with the Tuscany board it's not something we want to play every time, but it's still an amazing expansion so it stays.
Great Video. Am also in the minority and prefer core VC-EE. Since some from our group like the trader and wine seller spot on Tuscany we implemented those two in base for some games. Which was fun too. But no need to have. ..... Did you guys follow Martin Wallace new game bloodstones? Would love to see a review from you. Since it's a AUS based project you even are on the same continent :) a prototype test might be easier to arrange.
Thanks for the kind words! We aren't Australian though...😅. Or in Aus. We've seen it advertised but it didn't hook us (even though we do like Martin Wallace).
@@BoardOfItReviews seriously? Always had the impression your are from Australia. 😄 ... You like Wallace, you like Root 😊... gotta give it a try. For me it has gem pototential .. the TTsim is also very solid
See that's the thing, the theme does leave me cold. I may still buy it, but what I'd really be looking for is the mechanism with a different theme. It looks lovely but ultimately wine is 'meh' for me. Do you think people ultimately like it because it looks so good (along with the mechanism?)
Best example I can give is Tom Vasel of The Dice Tower. He's teetotal, so assumedly the theme of making wine isn't a huge draw for him, but it's one of his favourite games, I think often in the top ten or at least twenty on his yearly list. So I think the mechanisms are obviously solid.
Thanks, yes, I heard you mention that in the video, and there's no denying it LOOKS gorgeous. Your review was great, and I think I'll stick to the two EEs if I do buy.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! Good to know we should also recruit more players.

Thankfully the mechanisms are such that I think this is great for anyone!
I am enjoying all of your videos, keep them coming!
We will! Thank you!
Great review, love the dogs!!!!
🥰
Great review thank you! I have Viticulture EE and enjoy it. Maybe in for Tuscany EE. There maybe too many expansions lol. So much to choose from.
Hope it helps!
I didn't realise I wasn't subscribed, wondering why I never saw your videos in my feed, doh! Keep up the great work.
Thank you! And thanks so much for the sub, means a lot! 😊

New game shelf!
Sadly it's nice but a bit too small compared to the previous one. Too many games problem...

Haha! No, we are British, but we live in Denmark!

Love it, just two weeks late for me! Haha 😅
Apologies for that ha!
The naming of these games is such a fucking mess.
