Hello Mark. Thank you for sharing her story. Essances unfortunately was gunned down today. To come on this post and see how strangers seen her for who she was and spoke life into her, I thank y’all. Don’t think she didn’t have family who loved her. She was loved in so many ways, but we could not force her from this life.

Actually, one of the most overt signs someone is lying is they preface with claiming honesty. When someone says "To be honest, I'm going to be honest, I'm gonna be real, etc.", especially in conjunction with touching face or hair, is a sign what they are going to say after that is a lie. In police interrogations it is seen a lot and there is training to watch for it.

Wow rip to this beautiful girl. I was in the adult industry, I was coming on here to comment that this woman does NOT understand the seriousness of the situation and lifestyle she's in, than I see she was killed. Please ladies, let this be a lesson. The worse that can happen is NOT simply getting in the wrong tricks car. Sadly, it is death, it is being permanently maimed, it is lifelong emotional trauma that you will always be healing from or suffering from. my heart goes out to her family.
It's not that sex work isn't appropriate for SOME people. Sex work is not beneficial spiritually, mentally, or physically for ANYONE, no matter how much they mask their pain for the camera and their customers, or how much they are in denial of the negative impacts of this work.

@@sciencenotstigma9534 if her death had NOTHING to do with her lifestyle, I apologize for inferring that it was. However what she is saying is in this video is untrue, and it is important that people understand that there is ALOT of risks and damaging impacts from this lifestyle. The way she played it down as if the worse that can happen is getting in the wrong tricks car is a very naive and damaging message. That's what I hope people can take away from my comment. I do honestly have a hard time believing that her death had absolutely nothing to do with her lifestyle, but I could be wrong. I was unable to find out further details about the incident and I would love to cuz she touched my hearr. But when you are in that lifestyle, every choice and move you make revolves around your lifestyle. Most pimps or working girls (who are actually putting in work) will tell you that. It's a 24/7 job. Every task they do is revolving around their lifestyle. It could be getting drugs/alcohol so you can stay up and work, and get the courage to do their job. Could be going to the store to put money on a prepaid debit card so you could post an ad online. Could be going to the hotel so you can shower and make some money, etc When you're in this lifestyle and you're putting in work, everything you do revolves around the job. So maybe her lifestyle had absolutely NOTHING to do with her demise, but it doesn't seem very plausible to me. @@sciencenotstigma9534 that vague description of the events surrounding her death doesn't prove anything. I have seen the comments left by her sister on this video. But I didn't see any statements explaining who killed her and why. I could be wrong, as I said. However, I stand by my point that she was wrong AF to downplay the severity of the lifestyle she was in. whether or not her death was DIRECTLY related to her lifestyle or indirectly related, I know for a fact that "the worse that can happen" is NOT just getting into the wrong tricks car. And getting into the wrong tricks car shouldn't be downplayed either, as it CAN and DOES lead to murder quite often.

    Hello Mark
I'm stunned by these interviews. They give a voice to the voiceless who should be heard and bring a greater awareness to the larger public that is often times numb to what's really the cause for things happening in the streets.
I'm from germany, Frankfurt to be specific. Just like almost any other city it is a melting pot between drug abuse and the rush of the business districts where misery is often times just a block away.
It also homes many people who been muted by society.
I would like to start a similar project as S.W.U. Based on the idea of sharing the stories of these people over here.
I'd really appreciate it (in case your reading this) if you could find the time and give me some tips on how you got started and how you established a basis of trust for these people to feel comfortable telling their fates.
Thx already and keep it going.👏

Many of them don’t want to be where they are no more than you want to be in rush hour traffic for 2 hours heading to your depressing 9-5 job every day. However, you’re simply doing what’s necessary to make ends meet just as they are. Possibly had an easier path to achieve this, as well. You people should simply relax and take their stories for what they are and not attempt to tell them obvious things they already know and have heard time and time again instead of coming here and playing UA-cam Comment Therapist. And watching these stories let's me know how truly blessed I am. I am a survivor of the grim sleeper photo #88. These stories break my heart especially when they weren't able to escape the life. My baby sister was on here named Debra. She passed last year at 28 in her sleep. This is a reminder that I have a purpose and duty to tell my story in hopes others either are deterred from this path or see that their story doesn't have to end on a street corner or in a hotel room. Some of these SWs make what i make in two weeks in a matter of a few hours. Their earning potential GREATLY exceeds mine and money makes a HUGE difference in quality of life in the average persons life. "Sex work is the oldest profession in the book" and although theres a potential for risk, like plenty of other jobs, its not a guarantee, like plenty of other jobs, and the rewards often outweight them.
