Thanks for this video. Very thorough. (Learning a lot. seems very simple. They take a look at your passport stamp it and the check your paper work.)

Billy, I remember checking in to my first country and it was stressful. I thought they would take a check and I was surprised at how much it was. Don't let the naysayers deter you this was good information. Keep it up

Wow, I had no idea that they would allow you to bring firearms in, that's pretty good.

They let you have a shotguns and pistols, you just have to declare them, and how much ammo you have.

Click bait???? If this is click bait then your life is dull. "Hey wife, pop some corn and ice some beer. We're going to gather around the TV and watch Billy check into the Bahamas."

$300 for 70 days...ridiculous fee...I thought it was $300 for the year, which is still ludicrous...legalized extortion!!! Great info guys...favorable winds

It’s really $300 for 90 days. We just told customs we would be there for 60. We could have stayed 90. And it’s only $150 if your boat is less than 35’. It is really a bargain because with the fishing permit it comes with you can legally catch thousands and thousands of dollars worth of fish for yourself and you family to eat in that time frame. It is well worth the price to cruise and fish on your own boat in Bahamian waters.

thanks for the reply...150 isn't bad...either way I'm going...just gotta finish the boat...Luke at Kracken is on my list this fall...great info as always...love your videos and Jetty...favorable winds!

Actually the fee you pay is for your cruising permit and a fishing permit. It allows your vessel to remain in the country for up to one year. If your vessel departs the country and return before 90 days after your initial entry you don’t pay the 300 or 150 again. You may renew the fishing permit every 90 days if the vessel remains in the Bahamas
