tbh most "designers" rip people off anyways. The majority of these hobby artists are conceited and think they are professionals with their saber skills. Those "experts" who can´t even loop saber properly so just linearly keyframe the start/ end offset LOL
Still this is very basic, small designers make more detailed/better looking effects and fonts if you want.

Arum you do realize this is a somewhat old method and that it has most definetly been reported on before, it's a bit weird to claim that you're the one who reported on this first.
*If you cannot find the download button just right click and press save image as and make sure it is a gif file*

You can copy the link of your gif and then paste the link on the next website hes talking about instead of choose a file just paste the link

The last "resize" step is not really needed. Mine gif lost its quality pureness by resizing it, but then I posted to my steam the first one gif, It just seemed better at all, But this video is a real gold. Thanks!

You can make the pictures long instead of square but you have to use a code when adding the artwork to steam. If you want a video on how to do that search up "How to add long artwork to steam" or something like that.

If you go into the media link, you can download the sources for different types. Download it in mp4 then convert it to gif.

update:long version tutorial (MUST BE AT LEAST LVL10 ON STEAM):
step 1: grab your long steam profile pic
step 2: imput it to giphy.com/create/gifmaker
step 3: make the gif and download it
step 4: open steam on chrome(or whatever) upload the gif to your team artwork, BUT before hitting the upload button press F12 go to console and paste this: document.getElementsByName("image_width")[0].value = 999999;document.getElementsByName("image_height")[0].value = 1;
the conslole will answer u with a 1
step 5: Go to the edit profile and select the gif (it will appear like a line)
but its low qual. why ?

The giphy website had an update, instead of download you click on "Media" now, then download it as MP4 and put it in a mp4 to gif converter to get max quality.

Or you open the gif in photoshop, save for web > choose gif 128 dithered and you put 506x506 and save it. This way the quality is amazing.
