      They don't follow up on Dumb Tom. A false confession is also a chargeable offense -- obstruction of justice, or something, but we get the impression they just let him go. Some kind of referral for psychological evaluation would have been appropriate, but then this was the Early Fifties...

    Every episode seems to mention "Georgia street (?)" Hospital . I'm curious if this hospital existed or no longer does?

      That's the way it was then
      I especially remember the Old Gold ads with the dancing cigarette packs. Everyone I knew smoked. I'm 79 and still smoke. Very little but it's a tough habit to break.

      That's part of the fun of listening to these old shows... To see what life was like then. I love the old sponsor ads. And they loved their cigarettes then. It's sad, but true.
