Just want to say, I stumbled upon your channel very recently and absolutely love the content you make! Thank you for the historical topics you've brought to light and look forward to many more!
I like these videos a lot. Also a funfact: the best roleplay of Sacajaweas´s french husband (at least for me as a German) was Millhouse van Houten in "The Simpsons"...and in this specific episode her husband was actually killed by the Comanches (lead by Bart!)!
In the UK we had a long running series called “Time Team” which basically was a series of 3 day archaeological digs mostly in the UK covered in a one hour show. They dug up bits of a golf course near me for example to uncover what was in essence a Roman iron works. Plenty of Roman Villas and Iron Age forts as well as 17th/18th century industrial stuff. Has there been a US equivalent?
I subbed to your channel because of the Sabaton videos, but I really enjoy these trips to historical places. I love traveling myself (though haven't been able to recently, of course) and learning all the fascinating stories of the people and places where I've gone. This is wonderful.
Thanks for videos like that.. with covid and without being able to travel anywhere myself, people showing interesting stuff from their country are my saviors in these days

My wife's great great.. etc. aunt was none other than Pocahontas. I ribbed her about it when we were dating because when I met her, she looked like she could star in one of those advertisements for the girls bund in a Nazi propaganda video. Long story short, it was true, she is a member of the Upper Mattiponi tribe and her family is very proud of their history and heritage. The things you learn when you get to know someone...
Oh I know Pocahontas well. Both my parents are direct descendants of Pocahontas...my father descends through both of his parents, so 3 of my 4 grandparents descend from her.
