Yo @BoltJamison , I've also been cooking up a similar build for the last couple of days (running Challenger with Rampage + Hyperconductor instead of GS + Chef Medal), I cleared Apoc Gauntlet with it. Quick remark: Chef Medal is such a good item but there's a small interaction which makes me prefer Hyperconductor over it: if an aberration/boss has the Empathy affix, they will heal on perfect dodge, making some bosses literally unkillable (I've already notified Tragic about this since this doesn't seem intentional)

On Invader, I think it’s *always* been good, especially considering all its skills are really unique to build around in ease of use and power. The change to let Wormhole proc Perfect Dodge brought it up another tier, and the new trinkets have only solidified its spot.

@jonathanrivera870 devoured loop is a must on this build for infinite skill spam. If you need more defense, blessed necklace is a good ring. Just filter the rings out in the filter section for anything that says "relic". A few rings will pop up. Use the one that fits your playstyle
@BoltJamison I didn't knew I have the trancient cord so I'm using the sapphire dreamstone instead of devouring loop or maybe use the probability cord for more dmg. Thanks. Also having a blast with this build.
Love the Plasma Cutter, I like the new Repair tool as well but the hitbox seems off honestly. Doesn't always register damage either even when its on target. Made my own kinda regen/dps setup, kind of a meme. "Healer dps" its great though, I do dmg and I have room for mistakes. With that I've said nothing about the setup you presented so far but it is awesome. Might revisit invader again but I really like my Medic/Hunter setup.
It has to be the perfect amulet for you - and can even be combined with Akari war band 🎉😂 Mr. Perfect Dodge got a perfect amulet for his preferred playstyle 😊 LES GOOOU! 😁

Something I found out the hard way regarding this legendary perk (Artful Dodger) + Chef Medal: when fighting a boss with empathy, every dodge that triggered Chef Medal would also heal the boss - so there is a downside to this setup.

My brothers and I have been trying to finish the game on Hardcore and we just haven't been able to yet, so I've been wanting to really make a solid healer build. There are some out there, but none of them are super updated and don't include the most recent archetypes and items. Would super appreciate it, thanks!

We cleared Remnant From The Ashes together on hardcore, clearing every single boss (even while almost wiping on Iskal Queen twice), so we really want to be able to make it through on Hardcore in this but we're just having a tough time
Did I miss something? You didn't go over probably the most important part of this build? The build of your Relic, that's where the magic is! That can make or break, your build! Would have been nice to have seen the makeup of this?
@@dansloan4242 yea that was my mistake. I added that in another take and forgot to do it in the take for the video. But I don't want to make prisms the focal point of a build. some players will never get the rng to mimic the same prism as me. But I will go over it in future videos.
@MattDoesLife539 it doesn't use the relics, it just activates the relic perk and any items that requires a relic to activate. It doesn't use the relic itself

@nicholaschavez186 I honestly wouldn't use hunter with chef medal. Hunter relic perk isn't great. If you wanna use hugs with the plasma cutter, just spec into full damage. You won't get the utility or survivability of this build but you will have more dps

@gr8momba none. It's the main part of the build. Just spec into damage until tou get it. Abrasive whetstone, energy diverter, neck of Supremacy, the new light roll crit one, etc

@@BoltJamison qq - i was looking at monolith's stats and it overall just seems like a better plasma cutter; has the same overall ammo, 20% shorter mag for 50% more dmg per shot, but it doesn't have any heat management required. what's the pref for plasma cutter here instead? seems like monolith with its 15% damage taken debuff would be better? prolly been talked to death so mb on that, just getting back into R2!
@thepromman plasma cutter is hands down the best dps gun for single targets. You forget that the damage ramps up the longer you shoot with plasma cutter. Monolith doesn't come close in terms of raw ranged dps.

Hey Bolt, this is completely unrelated but I was hoping you might know something about it - been looking for answers but everything I've found is from release. Is upgrading to +20 making the game harder than sticking to a lower player level? I am aware of difficulties scaling enemy power by significant amount. To clarify, I'm mainly thinking about enemy damage to the player over increases. If I'm taking 20% more damage by being PL20 at the same diff, then damn. But if I'm taking a few more percent, to the point of it not really mattering at the same DR, then I'm down to upgrade all the way. Just don't to be noticeably squishier by maxing out PL.
Im actually trying a warden as prime perk build with engineer as second class and ive make a build based on warden passive and shield ive put like nanofiber strand , burden of the protector , clear Halo and , ring of crisis , with difference engine as necklace,but im tempted of using isntead of salvage heart using profane heart for extra lifesteal and working with the difference engine,like shield heart was good before cause you could have 2 layers of shield but not now exept if you have the special prism for it , like lifesteal is good with shield cause it allow to get back life safely , witch why ive put this necklace instead of other shield related ones , but yea i don't know if it will work the way i want...i just have to test in multiplayers i guess to see...i did a break before DLC 3 and have to get back my mechanics back haha.
@@BoltJamison it feel mediocre like drones like shield take time to refil his own energy you have to put it back in inventory to apply cooldown if you have some, and the prime prime perk is like situational cause you have to not get damage in 10 sec, and the extra nerubian energy does work on turret i believe also same as repair tool weapon but yeah so far ive been using now combat drone cause eitherway im wasting the 50% skill damages the engineer give you cause other drone doesnt deal damages theyr passive and just utility. Im trying to work around shield items related but it feel meh compare to a prime perk engineer overclock with possibility to spam the ability overclock for exemple, i'ts complicate to build an Warden as main perk...

@@BoltJamison agreed but not as good if u don't utilize most of what it's increasing. I'm casting skills/mods more than I'm continually firing my guns and I don't use any automatic weapons. However the icing on the cake is sporeblooms mod is the only gun to my knowledge that fully takes advantage of perceptions bonuses. Slow is the best debuff in the game for mobs, in my opinion, while haste is more reliable in boss fights. Sick build btw. Only person thus far that I've seen take advantage of the chefs amulet. I clicked because of that reason.
How did you get the chef amulet to actually activate the archetype relic perks? I tried a build nearly identical to this concept with the Chef days ago and it never once activated relic perks
@@sk0omaalters96 you just need to perfect dodge, that's it. Every perfect dodge activates all relic use stuff. If you mean healing you, it won't. It just activates the ability you would get for using a relic
@@BoltJamison no, I know what it means. I mean the relic abilities that each archetype has. And I know it needs perfect dodge, I was using wormhole to activate it and I was also using the ring that reloads my weapon on perfect dodge.
@@BoltJamison must be, I never tried with the other ability…I have another much older separate build based entirely on being invincible with 100% upkeep of that with devouring loop, but didn’t use chef with it
insane build but i can´t try it i ahve a bug and can´t get the chef medal :( i give crop sample to duane and got the numbling agent after that i can´t speak with duane anymore . i Check files for errors but it doesnt work so im very frustrated with the game at the moment

@@BoltJamison yeah I’ve made a solid engineer and warden build with infinite Vulcan ammo due to the new ring and prism stuff plus’s charge attacks from Vulcan giving shield, and constant haste and movement speed buffs from engineer make it great, even for most bosses on apoc you can tank a ton unless it’s super fast hits. Only problems are you stagger easily, even with full Leto mk1. That’s my only gripe, and some boss attacks that do a ton of ticks of damage can kill you still on apoc

@RolliPunk it's kind of the focal point of the build to have infinite skills but if you don't have it, you can add another perfect dodge ring like blessed necklace for survival

Duane seems to bug if you got a numbing agent before he gives you one. I've been cycling through his cook/sit phases dialogue spamming for 20 minutes and thz guy won't give me shit
@@BoltJamison I made solved the issue by talking to Duane in another player's world. He gave me the agent and the amulet right after. Yay ! So anyone facing the same issue: just hop online to unlock it. And to Duane: bon appétit, twat !

@aquamayne8168 shouldn't run out of ammo too much. Gunslinger prime give infinite ammo reserves for like 8s

Im actually trying a warden as prime perk build with engineer as second class and ive make a build based on warden passive and shield ive put like nanofiber strand , burden of the protector , clear Halo and , ring of crisis , with difference engine as necklace,but im tempted of using isntead of salvage heart using profane heart for extra lifesteal and working with the difference engine,like shield heart was good before cause you could have 2 layers of shield but not now exept if you have the special prism for it , like lifesteal is good with shield cause it allow to get back life safely , witch why ive put this necklace instead of other shield related ones , but yea i don't know if it will work the way i want...i just have to test in multiplayers i guess to see...i did a break before DLC 3 and have to get back my mechanics back haha.

@@BoltJamison it feel mediocre like drones like shield take time to refil his own energy you have to put it back in inventory to apply cooldown if you have some, and the prime prime perk is like situational cause you have to not get damage in 10 sec, and the extra nerubian energy does work on turret i believe also same as repair tool weapon but yeah so far ive been using now combat drone cause eitherway im wasting the 50% skill damages the engineer give you cause other drone doesnt deal damages theyr passive and just utility. Im trying to work around shield items related but it feel meh compare to a prime perk engineer overclock with possibility to spam the ability overclock for exemple, i'ts complicate to build an Warden as main perk...
Does haste affect skill and mod cast speed? Or just the things you mentioned in the video.

@@BoltJamison thank you so fucking much. Been searching for an answer for so damn long. I'm a spore bloom invoker user. That perception trait was designed to fit perfectly with those very things I use at all times. The road to perfecting my build continues.
@XavianJohnson perception is a great trait. 10% speed increase to numerous stats is quite strong
@@BoltJamison agreed but not as good if u don't utilize most of what it's increasing. I'm casting skills/mods more than I'm continually firing my guns and I don't use any automatic weapons. However the icing on the cake is sporeblooms mod is the only gun to my knowledge that fully takes advantage of perceptions bonuses. Slow is the best debuff in the game for mobs, in my opinion, while haste is more reliable in boss fights. Sick build btw. Only person thus far that I've seen take advantage of the chefs amulet. I clicked because of that reason.
I gave Duane the crop to cook and he gave me the Numbing Agent, but then he despawned. I might need to do it again.

How did you get the chef amulet to actually activate the archetype relic perks? I tried a build nearly identical to this concept with the Chef days ago and it never once activated relic perks
@@sk0omaalters96 you just need to perfect dodge, that's it. Every perfect dodge activates all relic use stuff. If you mean healing you, it won't. It just activates the ability you would get for using a relic
@@BoltJamison no, I know what it means. I mean the relic abilities that each archetype has. And I know it needs perfect dodge, I was using wormhole to activate it and I was also using the ring that reloads my weapon on perfect dodge.

@@BoltJamison must be, I never tried with the other ability…I have another much older separate build based entirely on being invincible with 100% upkeep of that with devouring loop, but didn’t use chef with it
insane build but i can´t try it i ahve a bug and can´t get the chef medal :( i give crop sample to duane and got the numbling agent after that i can´t speak with duane anymore . i Check files for errors but it doesnt work so im very frustrated with the game at the moment

@artur3306 devloop builds aren't good with weapons that aren't full auto. Don't worry, I have a Genesis build I'm working on too.

@patricioolivero5032 oh man tanking is stronger than ever now! You tank lovers are eating very well right now with all the shield lol. I'll come out with one eventually. So many other stuff I'm working on
@@BoltJamison yeah I’ve made a solid engineer and warden build with infinite Vulcan ammo due to the new ring and prism stuff plus’s charge attacks from Vulcan giving shield, and constant haste and movement speed buffs from engineer make it great, even for most bosses on apoc you can tank a ton unless it’s super fast hits. Only problems are you stagger easily, even with full Leto mk1. That’s my only gripe, and some boss attacks that do a ton of ticks of damage can kill you still on apoc

@RolliPunk it's kind of the focal point of the build to have infinite skills but if you don't have it, you can add another perfect dodge ring like blessed necklace for survival

@viperarm04 that's my fault I forgot to go over them. I did it on another take and forgot to include it in this one. My bad. It was a standard ranged build generalist prism. Sharpshooter was the legendary.

Duane seems to bug if you got a numbing agent before he gives you one. I've been cycling through his cook/sit phases dialogue spamming for 20 minutes and thz guy won't give me shit

@@BoltJamison I made solved the issue by talking to Duane in another player's world. He gave me the agent and the amulet right after. Yay ! So anyone facing the same issue: just hop online to unlock it.

@Winterhe4rt yea the rng can be a pain. If you don't have thousand cuts, you can use the momentum mutator in the meantime
