I love the frequent connections Kate has with Australia. I think we should adopt her.
Yes please 😂
Yesssss
Kate is a national treasure.
She sure is
I'd say an International treasure Mate, we're gonna claim her as our own now 🇦🇺🤣!
She is a national treasure indeed. She makes it into my All Time Top 10 list of SNL cast members and that's a hard list to crack. But she is just that good.
One thousand percent
Not funny tho
As an Australian, Kate marvelling at bin chickens is honestly the funniest thing I've heard
She sounded like she was mimicking the accent really well (very briefly) but I don't know for sure since I'm American.
@sarahberkner nah she did good
That's the funniest thing you've heard? You should get out more
I bet you had a bees dick
When she was describing it I was like…is she going to say a pelican? And then as it went further, I was like ooohhh…..she’s talking about a bin chicken 😂😂😂
Australian here. Love the Ibis. Only bogans call ibis "bin chickens". Fun fact: Baby ibis have a beautiful trilling call to their parents for food. It's one of the loveliest sounds you could ever hear. 🐤🎶👂
i love them honking and fighting on the roof every morning
I like Kate McKinnon she is a great actress.🤩
I love Kate McKinnon!! Biggest fan ever
She really is special
@@blaze556922 They should make a gender swap reboot of Mrs Doubtfire with Kate McKinnon.
She's AMAZING! I love her ❤
Lol love Kate 🙂 laughed at her description of Bin Chickens haha
Hi from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Kate is amazing!! So happy to see her on!! Thank you 🙏
Not just amazing, she's also hilarious
@@jeronwashington1536 They should make a gender swap reboot of Mrs Doubtfire with Kate McKinnon.
‘A bee’s D**k’ is actually an Aussie term 🤣
Having lived in Aus I knew immediately Kate was talking about a bin chicken 😂 those guys are worse than pigeons they have no boundaries!!
Your right I see them in schools a lot.
Me too! I knew straight away what she was talking about 🤣
One stole my lunch from my hand the other day!
i can befriend pigeons and catch the injured ones. i wouldn't be able to get an injured bin chicken!
lol as an Aussie i can say her Aussie accent is actually pretty good
ps. yes actually "bees dick" IS a somewhat common expression in Oz, to express something tiny
I thought she said 'bees stick'. One of my favourite sayings I learned when I moved to New Zealand was, 'Asshole to breakfast table.' 'I fell down the steps and into the bins and things flew from asshole to breakfast table!'
@@TheAccidentalViking whats a bees stick? lol
@@DaveWhoa I'm mixing languages. 'Biestikk' is the Norwegian word for bee sting or dialekt for its stinger, so I thought she was talking about the size of a bee's stinger. Some days, I can't do either language I'm supposed to know.
i've never heard it
I am such an admirer of Kate. Very talented lady!
So many Aussies in Joe vs Carole, it was very exciting! Shareena Clanton, Anita Hegh, Michala Banas, David Wenham, Kerry Armstrong, love it!
KM is incredible and my favorite part of SNL.
I love Kate!! ❤❤
joe vs carole is SO GOOD. kate killed it as always
Actual legend. The goat of SNL.
Kate is so SO funny! She always makes the other actors crack which IMO makes the skits even funnier. And honestly sometimes funny at all haha. Edit: That was nice giving a personal shout out to the makeup gals.
As a Queenslander living in Vic now most of my life I love the Bin chicken. The issue is not the bird, it's the cheap crappy bins that people use that are easy to get into. In Vic it'd be a fox or a cat. And yeah, 'bees dick' is a thing elsewhere too
man Kate cracks me up she's hilarious and she's gorgeous her facial expressions make her even more attractive
Kate's Aussie accent is spot on! It's funny that she played the craziest big cat lady when she is such a crazy cat lady herself 😊
Nino denies the "crazy" part 🐈⬛
Kate!!! Always welcome in Oz! 💜🇦🇺🤙
Definitely my most fav SNL member
I fucking love her
"Just you wait, Henry Higgins, just you wait" is classic and precious. Kate McKinnon is the best.
I absolutely love Kate. She is so extremely beautiful. Such a great personality. I can watch and listen to her talk all day long. I am so in love with her. I look forward to watching anything and everything she's in.
And Kate loved Budapest too… my son wore pink pin stripe for the Barbie movie opening… congrats!
"Bees dick" is such a classic Aussie saying.
I love Kate
I love her 😭🖤🖤🖤🖤 she is so cool and funny
Kate is absolutely incredible. I couldn't not hear the anxiety in her breath and in her hands while she aced this interview. Kate, you rule dude. You are an inspiration.
I love you Kate 😍😍❤️❤️
The title is super relatable for me lol
Kate is a genius.
That writing night at the same time. The discipline never go away yeah
Loveeeee herrrrrr!!!!😍💕🥰
OMG KATES MY FAIR Ladie REFERENCE i love this woman so freaking much
You can't be fully amazed by them until you taste one fresh off the barbie.
Wait…y’all eat the bin chickens?? (Excuse my American stupidity lol)
@@zivadavid4680 definitely not!
@@maeleemadrid6818 lol good to know, thanks
Considering their diet, I wouldn't eat one if I was starving 😀
@@zivadavid4680 they're native too, and most of our native species are protected.
2:29 This is for you, Nic.
My celebrity crush lol
hard same hahaha
I’m Australian and I love bin chickens. They also have a funny honk. I think only eastern staters hate ibises. They don’t get into bins over here in Western Australia.
I went to Australia for 12 days. I lost alot of weight because I hated their food lol 😂
What was wrong with the food?
Kathryn McKinnon!!!!!!!
10years! WOW
I walk around the block and there'll be at least ten kangaroos all the time, I swear.
WHAT IS THIS MAJESTIC HERON JUST LOOSE THIS IS A SIGHT HHAHHHHHHUAAHAUAHHHSHAAHAHAHAHAHAH she is everything to me her mind
We also call the ibis .. the ciggie bin bird. They eat butts as well.
The Ibis is a beautiful bird, and anyone who hates them is incapable of living an authentic life. Bin chickens rule!
They are not "our pigeons" we have pigeons and Ibis.
The reason there are more tigers in the US is more of a sign of how bad poaching is than how much room we have for big pets.
WAIT!! ✋ A Barbie Movie? I hope its really really really good😀
She is pretty and so funny
Legend 👏. When science can clone people I'm gonna be ordering a Kate as my personal life coach
The bin chicken, our national bird. Can't believe some Aussies hate them. :(
i would love to have a pet bin chicken
Great video ⭐⭐
Bees dick is totally an Australian thing . Just like…sparrows fart …is the very second that the sun comes up over the horizon in the morning . Hahaha Hey from Oz
Nice 3 of your funny videos
🥰💕

They should have used Kates fellow SNL cast member, Chloe Fineman, as Carole Baskin. Chloes look and impression of Carole is so much better.
I'm Australian and have never heard of bin Chickens. I do however have Kangaroo's on my lawn and hopping down our street on a regular basis. It's a normal thing where I live but it's still funny to watch and never gets old.
I saw a bunch of kangaroos in Australia but I never saw an ibis!
Bin chicken is a bogan emu lol
This sucks. Where am I going to see her now :(?
Something about her is off here
Just wanted to add, when Kate said that "bee's dick" isn't Australian slang, isn't quite accurate.. It is often used in Australia, but it is usually used in a situation when something is missed by the smallest of margins.. Such as throwing, kicking, or even shooting something at a target (which could be anything) and just missing said target.. And if you want to exaggerate even further, it is often said that you have missed by the hair on a Bee's dick! 😁
Lol sadly yeh the ibis we don't like here in Oz, they are so dirty and destroy trees and are just a pest. A protected pest but a pest. We have tons of wild roos but they too are in such large numbers they are considered a pest and are hunted regularly. They don't need a mate to reproduce so yeh imagine how quick they spread. It's also food, lol we eat most of the animals on our coat of arms except the koala, it would taste like eucalyptus. Kangaroo meat is huge here in restaurants and it's weirdly enough a popular dogfood....
They do need TO mate to reproduce, though.... just to avoid possible confusion 😀
I swear I just hear her talk in Gal Gadot's accent only now
GHOSTBUSTERS is wot i say when i fart
Nah South Aussies uses beesdk as a unit of measurement, distance and time
Oh I though mozzie was like a common thing
Am I the only person that caught Kate saying “I love women…I’m always looking, I’m always on the hunt?” Maybe it’s the lesbian in me 😉
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻😉✌🏻🌻🌻
Ryan Gosling, Ken.. really?
Calm down tonya harding
“Kangaroo, I guess”
Wow ten years that is wild. She is so good with the Australian accent. It is wild they think kangaroos as rats. They can kill you too. I would love to watch her do an Australian accent of carol and someone do Joe. On the barbie I always cringe at the song you can undress me anywhere. I wish SNL could have gave her a character to remember her when she leaves. I do love the alien probe one.
We don't think of them as rats at all. There's just a lot of them.
Ibis, on the other hand... 😞
The saying bee's 🍆 is know by most Aussie's
Yep. It’s one of my dad’s fave sayings 😂
Even Kate isn't spared Jimmy speaking over his guest and cutting off interesting replies. Was he the youngest of a huge family or something? Its pathological.
is this crowd asleep?
Snl
Was this audience dead? So hard to get a laugh
ffs I wish he would’ve just let her speak
Carol Baskin murdered her husband. I mean most people think so. And Kate is saying wonderful things about her?? Because Baskin tries to save big cats! I was never a big fan of Kate on SNL. I Always thought she was so overrated. When it comes to top female SNL cast members of all time. She's like #7 or #8.
Most Australians have never seen a kangaroo or wallaby up close except for a theme park or Zoo
*Live* kangaroo
Plenty on the side of the road
For whom are you speaking? Everyone I know, if asked, would say they have seen at least one and not in a zoo. I live in an inner-city suburb and can drive 15 min and see plenty of them on government land that used to be farmland. And as for "up close"...you don't want to get up close. That's threatening to them and potentially you. That IS where the ones in theme parks/zoos come in handy - they're essentially tamed.
Says who?
It was almost awkward how little she looked at jimmy… she just kept her attention on the audience which is understandable, but still it was oddly noticeable.
THANK YOU!! I thought I was the only one to notice. Even Jimmy notices and shows awkwardness for a moment, but then he goes along, as the great talk show host he is.
Exactly. I noticed it too.
She always interviews like that. I like it. I think she's trying to engage with the audience.
What a dead audience though.
You wouldn't know anyone was there.
bin chickens are gross
She’s SO FULL OF HERSELF! She hasn’t said anything funny
She is my favorite on SNL. She is so funny.
As an Aussie, may I say that we'd love to have you visit. You have lots of fans here. Oh and, Kate, not everyone hates ibises. We may not want them in our bird feeders (they'd eat the lot in one gulp), but most people I know love all our native birds.
I LOVE Jimmy and Kate and this audience was PAINFUL haha they had to work so hard for laughs
For real. I felt that way like 20 seconds into it.
@GrkFreak that'll do it. 👌🏽
I just think the audience wasn’t mic’ed up properly. There is no audio of them laughing and you can only hear faint laughs through their lapel mics
Glad that Kate is getting the information out there about Carole’s work for the Big Cat Public Safety Act. Too bad Jimmy over talked her when she said the most important part. Not surprising.
He can’t anger the “animal experts” that come on his show.
Kate is my ALL TIME favorite! Laugh so hard every time I watch her. The things I would do to have a friend like her!
As an Aussie, I’ve never heard of a “bees-dick” as a measurement, but I’ve decided it’s perfect and I’m adopting it immediately!!! 🤣😂
really!? One of the most common phrases here!
@@benwhittingtonmusic Lol not in Perth then 😅
@@TomsTube or Qld
I thought she said bee stick! 😂
@@benwhittingtonmusic Agreed, for the past 50 years+ a "bee's dick" was always my preferred smaller single unit of measure. It was also my fathers and I have lived in all major cities from Melbourne to Townsville, currently residing in Port Macquarie.
Kate's aussie accent is honestly the best I've heard
It was pretty average.
Oh my god she’s freaking fantastic!! She’s such an amazing actor and comedian my god!! She always gives me all the feels and she’s so beautiful 🤩 🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
A bee’s dick is a recognised unit of measurement in Australia however most people use the simple abrevo, bee’s. eg. ‘just move it a bee’s to the left mate’
Man that audience was a disaster
