What a great and extremely rare catch. This must be the first and only video of the blue train with class 43GE diesels at the helm. I'm extremely jealous 😅. In my ideal world, the blue train would have its own custom painted set of 43GEs just like the 20Es. A modern train needs modern diesels locomotives. Nicely captured, Oom Piet👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

look at the filthy state of those locomotives rostered for South Africa's premier train (or am I thinking about Rovos Rail being the premier train?)
