WAVES and the Bombe

In celebration of Armed Forces Week 2021, NCM Director Vince Houghton and NCM Educational Coordinator Jennifer Wilcox discuss the historical significance of the cryptologic Bombe, and the role played by U.S. Navy WAVES in building and operating this electro-mechanical device used by cryptologists to decipher secret messages the Germans encrypted with their Enigma machines.
