  • Some music grabs me, and then stays with me. This is one of those songs. A western comedy "RUSTLER'S RHAPSODY" ended with this song. It was not a funny song, it was actually rather sad.
    It speaks to the passing of an era.
    Now when I was growing up Westerns dominated TV. Because so many had been produced in the thirties and forties and the new medium of Television needed material, so I saw all of the famous cowboys and came to love the genre.
    Then.... slowly the western began to fade away. There were still westerns being produced, but the industry wasn't grinding them out like they had been.
    So, when I heard this song, I knew I wanted to visualize it at some point. It rattled around in my mind until now. Here is what I imagine when I hear this song.....

    Love the Montage.....Although I thought Clint Eastwood clips were out of place. ....different era

      not necessarily, he played a cowboy, and the silver screen, while it usually refers to a certain period, CAN by a stretch of imagination apply here....
      plus I needed his specific actions for those moments in the video....
