Thanks for watching Anthony! The variables (MGD and mg/L) at the bottom half of the pie chart can be put in either order that you’d like. I am used to doing it this way but you could follow the picture and the answers will be the same.
It moves your commas or decimals so you dont get this gigantic answer it shrinks it down to 240 pounds instead of 240,000,000 pounds if that makes sense
The formula uses MGD (millions gallons) so you wouldn’t use 1,600,000 because that would mean a million million gallons per day. Is it a million million or is it 1.6 million?
I was thinking these pie charts were useful but you just made me see how you can use them to work these equations in different ways!
