- Just over two years ago, Liz Larson traveled to China to meet and bring home 2-and-a-half-year-old Ellia.

As a child and family counselor, Liz felt confident and well-equipped, although a bit anxious, to begin the journey of bonding and healing with her daughter.
Today, Ellia is thriving in her mom’s care. In just two years, Ellia has grown from a shy and quiet 2-year-old to an energetic, outgoing, silly 4-year-old who is secure and so loved. Liz says adopting as a single parent is “the hardest thing she has ever done on purpose,” but also the greatest gift.
Liz encourages all hopeful parents - whether married or single - to consider adoption.

Wow. I watched your first meeting. She's gorgeous and she looks like she's going to be tall. It's so interesting how you went from nervous but excited at first to getting comfortable and confident in your life together. Is anybody really confident? I guess not but you seem grounded and committed and you two love each other. What else is required?

But u should follow your heart and adopt a little baby that ull love and take care of ..a guy who doesn't support such a kind decision isn't worth being called a life partner

How does a single mother adopt from China?? According to the adoption laws on their website in Australia, single mothers are not eligible for adoption. Id love to adopt a baby from China.
