The part where the aircraft makes a water landing is correct. In this type of situation the Commanding Officer of the carrier would instruct the distressed aircraft pilot and passengers to either ditch if possible or land in the water. At that point a helicopter crew from one of the HSC squadrons that is part of the CVW would go out to rescue survivors. On a large aircraft like a 747 the USCG as well as the other ships in the carrier group will also be called in to play a role in the rescue of passengers and crew.
'Correct' only if the touch down on the aircraft carrier was perfect balance wise and remained the horizontal scale and also if the water surface was as smooth as that of a lake.
If it went to the water with a slightest banking/tilt, one of the wings would touch the rough ocean surface, that will cause...... You can simulate the rest yourself.
@@bravoedokko In real life they would not be allowed anywhere near the carrier. They would either do a water landing close to it or ditch.
