The new buses are smaller and no air conditioning. The frequency will increase to every 10 minutes paid by Derby City Council. There is no evening services on Sunday or Bank Holidays evenings after 6.40pm. Since Derby City Council is paying for the improvements but will not benefit the people of Spondon because a good majority of Spondon people cannot access the bus due to the distance from places like Locko Road and Sandingham Drive. No buses to Pride Park or the Wyvern Centre from the East of derby and derby pride park will have over 3600 new jobs that require public transport access.
