Summary: I print it out and post it on the wall ============ 1. Trustworthy. (Credibility and good character) 2. Grit. (Not giving up.) 3. Passionate. (Loving what you do) 4. EI and Empathy. (Understand oneself and others) 5. Curious. (Exploration) 6. Focused. (One thing at time) 7. Rebellious. (Rules are made to change and Risk taking) 8. Ambitious. (Think with the end in mind) 9. Adaptable. (Keep on target with changes) 10. Hardworking. (Walk the extra miles)
I founded several successful startups (and a few losers), and invested in a few including BidBud a marketplace where demand for services meet service suppliers via mobile application. Here are my top traits when hiring employees or investing in people: Trust worthiness (strong code of ethics), willingness to work hard (12 hours a day), stick-to-itiveness (grit), ambition, passion for their business, adaptable (willing to roll with the punches).
Trustworthiness was listed as a top requirement. As a recovered alcoholic and addict with a criminal history am I shooting in the dark trying to acquire investors?
I am binge watching a few videos and they are so good. So the good news is others would say and I would agree I have these traits. I would add hungry, humble and smart. Now I have a little more confidence in knowing my character traits and nature make for a good founder...how do we find what to look for in an investor?
Thanks, yes that is a great question. Also a bigger one, I think we need to do a video on that. Maybe I'll gather a few founders and do a video on that.
Trustworthiness is the best quality of service in any company. All of the above is a criteria and should always be adhered too. Your phrase stop watching and go build something is what I take to mind each and every single time.
I'm coming over to USA to meet and greet angel investors for my start-up. Can you please share guidelines how to find angel investors. I shall appreciate. Good day 😊
Thank you for your video. I have a business idea (tech startup) but I need someone who willing to be co-founder and CTO to make the product... Could you give me some advice or recommendations please?
I am thanking the cyberspace gods for figuring out my algorithm and putting your videos in front of me! I have a great idea for an app, and the content of your videos perfectly addresses all of my questions and issues. What a treasure!!!!
I could use an angel and make money for an angel but I am not so nieve though that crap to do it! I tried that with the sba once and they told me they would give me part but not all and basically took my plans and passed them to their buddy! This is a nothing but a big scam!
Interesting and useful; but this list also describes an over excited schizophrenic psychopath who can fake trustworthiness as the perfect tech founder.
I don’t think you should say “ like and subscribe button “ , it should be by default . You offer us raw and unfiltered valuable info ❤
Appreciate it!
