      the Factory Podcast TM it means the question “who am I” is one you have to answer yourself, you get to decide who you are and where your life goes

    • @PursuitSk8
      @PursuitSk8 4 роки тому +9

      @@TruthAplomado for me, defining yourself is when you do something so often, so that its a part of your lifestyle, making it so much of a part of you that people think of that when they think of you. Like people who drink and smoke all day, thats what they're known for. If you spend every day training for a fight then they'll think of you as a fighter.

      how will you define yourself if you can't even see yourself? start with seeking. realize the power of "I don't know", which is growth. while "I know" limits you.

    Matt Brown story motivated me i started MMA at the age of 19 i always worked in heavy shitty jobs and also used to be a junky and tried to gather money to pay my monthly MMA gym and i cutted toxic friends out of my life cause they always told me i was to late to start MMA or that i don’t look much of a fighter and now i feel much better on my own and now im 23 years old with only 1 MMA fight so far👊. Thank you Matt for your story.

      @JEFM Bumby road man so far i got one Draw and a loss. I got depressed for a while but im still getting my shit together and training even more harder than before. Next time I’ll make sure to win! And I know it’s tough finding a job bro or paying for your classes you just got to do one thing at a time first the job than your MMA career. For the job find a suitable schedule where you have time to go training later in the afternoon depending on your schedule classes. Have patience and faith bro thats how i do it.

      Best way is to give yourself a date e.g. I'm going to stop Every thing at the start of next month or next week etc. But you need a hobby to keep you occupied once you do stop all the bad things otherwise you won't have anything to look forward to. For a lot of people that hobby can be a combat sport.

      Want to know the secret to achieving what you want to achieve? It's really simple, 4 words, *JUST FUCKING DO IT* . When your mind starts to bring up "But this.. but that.." you say NO, and JUST FUCKING DO IT. You will retrain your mind in time. The mind doesn't care about what you say, it will obey commands.. so if you say to yourself "I can't do that", then you WON'T.. but if you say "I'm going to do ____"... your mind will look for the solutions. Do not listen to the naysayers, they are projecting their misery onto you and YOU are better than that.
