Amber is one of the best. She sings real country the way one should sing it. I love the steel guitar. Amber is someone who I can pick up my guitar and play wright along and just have fun. Go Amber, and keep up the great work.

No. That's Cowboy ( Wayne Kinnley ) played drums for my band 2ND FI🎻🎻LE 87 until mid 89. Passed away about 6 months ago. Good steady drummer and singer. All around great guy and friend.
Well Brad...Your post is the most pathetic attempt at being a music critic that I have seen to date, although I have to admit that it did give me a laugh! What I don't understand though is, taking into consideration your critique, why she is so popular. To believe you, her lyrics are generic; she's not connected to the song; has trouble embracing the audience; needs to increase her vocal range with daily exercises and sessions with a professional coach; has trouble reaching low notes and getting a good release on high notes. How about her band? Any "pseudo-professional" criticisms about the ability of either the pedal steel player or lead guitar? Do you think they might lessons too.....or at least daily exercises? And don't forget the drummer. What mystifies me is how you can say she has trouble "embracing the audience" when the video only gives 5 very brief glimpses of the audience. Granted, they aren't storming the stage or throwing their arms in closed-fisted salutes reminiscent of some left-wing despots but then you have to consider the video was shot at Music City Roots without the laser show or fireworks to cover up the fact that neither the bands nor the vocalists have much in the way of talent - just country fans who appreciate her talent and county music. Amber and her band does very well and I doubt if I am the only person who believes that - a true country sound and a very talented group of musicians who back her up. Good luck at your attempt to be come a music critic but here's a word of advise before you get too far into the new career - don't quit your regular job first!
