This class is probably the best, if you are looking through an economic perspective, that is. And you profit a lot depending on if you play your cards right or not, for example: Citadel has a lot of stone, but Monestary has little to none, that means if you buy stone from the Citadel, you will pay less for the stone itself because it's so common the price has dropped to a laughable amount. Selling the stone to the Monastery will give you a larger amount of money than the amount you gave to buy the stone in the first place, because Monestary has no or little to none stone at all. If the original price for the stone was, say, 2 gold per piece, you would earn 4/6/8 per piece by selling it at Monastery. Because stone itself is rare at Monestary, the shops will pay you larger amounts because of their scarcity. If you're a poor merchant, you might as well gather your own resources and whatnot, but buying them for a small price and selling them for an even larger one is a better idea.
Sometimes its not possible because of issues such as lack of leather and your not hunter or you want to speed it up. You can also exchange between shops its better in my opinion as a merchant.
How do you profit/get any money from being a merchant? You can buy something and sell it only to get the money that you used to buy said resources, if not less.
I made 5k gold in 1h as a smith today honestly in my opinion its the best paying job by far (but we of course Need mearchents to deliver us the materials for the smithing
How do you now if there are a low amount of breads at a schop? Bc if you buy bread for 5coins and sell for 6coins, you make loses, how do you now if there are a low amount in shops?
@@WarSoldier-ec9hz it’s based on the stock at the time, I may be wrong, but I believe it’s at 30 that you lose profit from selling bread. Generally prioritize ores rather than food, iron and coal can generate thousands in profit if you sell when there is less than 30 in stock. For gold and leather it’s at 10 but again loads of profit to be made at the right shops and right time. For wood it’s at 75 and not as profitable but generally more efficient since wood is generally understocked and you can sell a lot of it. Open the store map mode and see what your stores need then try buying the necessary resources for said stores.
Hey just wondering when I have a stall it says I need to buy weapons from merchant hall (which I think is near camp dogwater) but I can’t see any weapons
from my first match as peasent, i stockpiled 160 bread by using wheat and the price didn't change, i guess the prices are broken and merchant isn't worth playing at the moment or maybe you need to do trades with different fraction in order to profit
thanks was struggling with this class helped alot!
