Never seen a 79 with the square headlights. All the 79 Chevy's that I owned had the round headlights. I didn't think that the square headlights came out until the 80 model. Did someone change out the front grille assembly?
You are correct , this truck has 80 style square headlights .

Smaller sidewalls perform better for literally everything but drag racing...
