FEHA 50th Anniversary Video

This video is produced by the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), California's state civil rights agency, which enforces the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Government Code section 12900 et seq., the leading state civil rights law, which prohibits employment and housing discrimination. 2009 is the 50th anniversary of the Act. On the video, FEHA's half-century of achievements is summarized by California Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, Senator Abel Maldonada, DFEH Director Phyllis Cheng, and Fair Employment and Housing Commmission Chair George Woolverton.
