There has never been a greater show in tv history than 24! Every single episode is unreal
Every episode felt like i was watching a movie
In my opinion this was the best season of 24 and one of the all time greatest seasons of any tv series.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this season was better than it is given credit for.

In my opionion i think season 4 is the best when he rescues audrey heller and her father by all him self the best scenes ever
Season 2 is the best series ever, the suspense the disappointment and the rest made the season best.
This editing job was damn near perfect, the flash backs jump forward, my heart was actual racing at moments great job really. If this is your day job DONT GIVE UP !!!!!

This to me is the best season of 24, then day 1. This season just is so re watchable for me
i just have to comment this as well. what a brilliant piece of editing, you have really done an amazing job here, catching the essence of the series, highlighting the key elements, as well as the emotions. you should really post whatever's left of your material - because this is the perfect way to get ready for season 9. hands down, one of the best things on youtube.

This is excellent, well done! Would love to see you do this for every season of 24. There are no other real recaps or retrospectives on the series on UA-cam unfortunately. Its the greatest show of all time and it deserves to have each season, episode, and movie given the royal treatment.

5:04 - The editing in this video is astounding. But this moment here exemplifies WHY. After season one, between Jack and Nina, THIS was what it was all about. Teri. "Bitch, you killed my wife and you think for a second I'm ever gonna let that go? No, you got me all kinds of fucked up". That every bullet Jack put in Nina was a reflection or memory of Teri punctuated the moment. Just Brilliant! Thank you!

All I want to do is finish recapping the series before the movie comes out and it doesn't sound like that's happening too soon. Unfortunately :-(

Seasons 3, 4, and 5 are my favorites. Season 6 was a debacle but they got back on track with 7 and 8. Not a lot of people seem to like the later seasons but I quite enjoyed them. And Live Another Day was great as well. The whole series was top notch except for season 6.
what was so bad about season 6 ? i kinda liked it, We get to see more of jacks family , his brother graham who plotted against him Logan, His father phillip, and the return of cheng was pretty great and audrey. Wasn’t that bad of a season imo.

Thanks a lot. That's a really nice comment. I half agree with you, half not. I loved the storyline of the game and how if fitted between 2 and 3. Very cool idea. But it was an awful game, so I'm sort of with you! However, I wouldn't dream of doing anything that would change season 4 as 4 it's my favourite season of all. I can't wait to edit it! When Jack kills Ryan Chappelle, this was the first series to display that no character was safe from either side from being eliminated at any hour of any season. '24' was a major agent of change in TV drama, the last mjor network show to receive the Emmy for best drama in 2006.;)

I actually have never actually watched The Shield, so I can't really make one. But I do have the first 2 seasons. So who knows, maybe eventually :)

Thanks for the interest, but unfortunately no. This series of videos was excruciatingly long and difficult to make. It was very hard to find the dialogue needed to tell the story, because it nearly always has its own music in the background - making it a bitch to edit. That - plus the fact that Parts A and B didn't do very well (in terms of views) - means I sadly abandoned this project. BUT I am making a condensed 1-shot summary of the whole show at the moment. A sort of "story so far" montage to lead into Live Another Day.

C'est un bon film d'action
I know that fans watch these tribute videos to get their adrenaline going, but when 24 was at its best, i.e. seasons 1-5, it felt like it was more about suspense and intrigue, rather than action, intense drama and explosions. Better thought out and better paced than these clips now indicate. Hope it’s remembered as a spy show more than just grubby exploitation fare - which is usually fine - but 24 deserves better to me.

My biggest problem with this series is they didn’t fully utilize the number 24.
It’s obvious the first season was 24 hours with 24 episodes and each episode represents an hour within that time frame so if you watched it in real time the first season would really feel like one day.
Then they completely ruined this show by repeating the same concept for 9 seasons. So in the corse of this series Jack Bauer had 9 days of extremely bad luck and each day felt like a roller coaster ride dealing with some international threat.
In reality there is so much more they could have done season 2 could have been about Jack having to complete 24 tasks to save his daughter or his country. In Season 3 they could have done a 24 day scenario or even a 24 week scenario.
1. Jack having to collect 24 items
2. Jack having to kill 24 targets
3. Jack having to decode a message that is 24 letters long
4. Jack has 24 minutes in each episode to complete a mission or task or someone dies.
5. Jack having to protect a witness who is 24
6. Jack has to get 24 million dollars or someone dies
There are so many ideas involving the number 24 and they completely ruined and waisted so much potential and in the end the series just became a joke and is not that remembered or well loved.
Each to their own, but I can’t say I agree with you at all. The show wasn’t about the number 24. The ‘24 lwas representative of the show’s real time concept. What you are describing could be interesting, but it’s a completely different show, and the number 24 means nothing to the idea. Why 24 things, tasks, kills, days? It would be completely contrived that the number keeps being used like that. As for the show being ruined after the first season, the overwhelming consensus is that the show’s strongest years were 4 and 5. It’s ratings and awards recognition climbed enormously across Days 2 - 7, it won every major Emmy in its fifth year; so you’re entitled to your opinion, but it’s not born out in the way the show was received at all. As for it being forgotten, since it finished in Season 8, it’s been revived once, rebooted once, and as recently as this year the question of whether Kiefer will do another season continues to appear in the major trades. Regardless, thanks for the thought out, sustained comment.
