One of the most subtle, endearing compositions of Shankar Jaikishan for Hindi film "Badshah" (1954), picturised on Pradeep Kumar & Usha Kiran, immortalised by the voices of Hemant Kumar & Lata Mangeshkar.
Sangeeta and Surojit present their cover version in tribute and admiration of this brilliant composition. Lyrics are penned by Hasrat Jaipuri.

@@surojit13 SurojitJi, I feel blessed to receive a response from a celebrity like you, on my comment. When I heard your first duet with Sangeeta "Jai Jagdish Hare" about three or so years ago, I was sold My thought was Hemant Kumar Ji re-incarnated.
That Bhajan is my alarm song on my mobile. I hear it a minimum of three times a week for my scheduled tasks, some weeks more, when I set the alarm for other things. It progressed from there, and I found out more of your singing at various times. I am also very fond of Sangeeta's singing, and have heard a lot of your duets with her.
