I’m a 63 yo woman, in menopause, and I feel better than I did when I was in my reproductive days. No more cramps, headaches, and anxiety about getting pregnant, and worrying about tampons LOL! I do make an effort to take care of myself, stay at a healthy weight, exercise, reasonably healthy diet, active social life, great relationship, still working at a great career, take some supplements. I don’t take any prescription drugs. I feel fortunate but I have friends around my age or older and we’re doing just fine, thank you! I’m not as concerned about how long I live but how well. I’ve had a fortunate life and whenever fate calls me, I’m ready. It’s all good!
Living well is the big catch. So many of us do not, due to factors outside of our control and without anything medicine or anything else can do about it. Yet. Mental health is my demon, and fortunately the science around it is progressing quickly.
Very interesting! Thanks so much for making this available. I have read Dr Sinclair's book and found it fascinating. I was not interested in anti aging until a year ago and pleasantly surprised to discover much of my lifestyle fits with the recommendations for healthy living. I think the information in this video could make a huge positive difference in the lives of many people, much appreciation and respect.
"Extreme age is indicated, on the order of six thousand years"---Mr. Spock, "Star Trek" episode "Requiem for Methusaleh." The OT mentions Methusaleh lived 969 years. Today this is held to be a myth. But in the time of M, there was a tremendous vapor canopy surrounding the Earth, which blocked out most harmful solar radiation/cosmic rays. When the canopy collapsed, landforms like the Grand Canyon were formed, as oceanic amounts of water ran off the continent along with the rise of mountains. People will believe what they feel is most "stylish."

The trick is to live a healthy lifestyle, so everyone lives without too many comorbidities until 70, although even at that age, senior adults can lose excess weight, switch to a healthy diet, and start exercising.
I read about Dr. Sinclair's book "Why We Age, and Why We Don't Have To," very educative. There's no point increasing lifespan without health span. The goal should be to live longer while staying young and healthy. People who say they don't want to live forever should still support this because you can always change your mind later but not if you're already dead. I have been saying this... longevity is our choice! If we want to sustain our health, we have to do something about it! This will start by knowing what supplies our body needs. Start by eating a balanced diet, quit vices, exercise regularly and take an NMN supplement. It's my 7th month taking the NMN by Vitruvin already. It's cost-effective, and I can tell that what I hear from the feedbacks online aligns as well to my experience.

IMO, it's going to take an engineered approach to end aging. That means, we will likely need some pretty powerful AI with lateral thinking abilities to help us understand the biology enough to engineer solutions to aging, in a timely manner. Are you positive that AI is the correct path? Those who choose AI for various things might realize later on that they are biological beings created in a natural process that has been perfect for thousands of years. Tampering with Nature in an extreme way will most likely yield extreme results. Quantum mechanics has already confirmed that the human body is essentially an avatar body anyway. People should compare burgeoning science and technology with the new knowledge revealed by Quantum Mechanics, in my humble opinion.

There was a new and unnoticed research or idea on reddit where it indicated that celibate monks, saints, etc. had the ability to live virtually forever as they conserved their s3m3n and s3xual energies. One person pointed out at an Indian yogi named "Tatwale baba" who died at the age of 90 or 100, and had the body of a 35 year old. Process of ageing begins when a child loses his or her innocence. @@ivanuzunov635 Very True. Yoga and meditation were tools that were created to address this exact problem. When we evolve more and more efficient bodies by conserving all our energies, then every next generation will be a genetically superior one such that their longevity is naturally extended and the more we discover and control our body through yoga to the level of muscles, nerves, cells, DNA, neurons, molecules, atoms, etc. the more high quality and powerful children we produce such that every next generation will be born with more and more supernatural abilities that'd be beyond our human imaginations.
Well the host just proced these experts wrong in their statement or that womans statement, that you can predict a womans life expectancy by what age a woman starts menopause. The host stated that menopause, despite rises in longevity through the years has stayed stagnant and not changed. Therefore its not connected or a marker of longevity by any means
Also menopause is needed so that women don’t have babies when they’re too old to care for them, as a grandma, I get worn out watching my grandson all day, but when my kids were young I had much more energy to run after them. Menopause is a blessing. I have been taking resveratrol and other supplements and increased my steps and eating a better diet and I’m feeling much more energetic, but I still am glad to have raised my kids and now just enjoy my grand babies!!! I love Dr. Sinclair, he’s devoted his life to the health of the world and he’s willing to share it.
Our civilization is built to cater to the need of the youth and middle aged. There is paucity of senior friendly infrastructure. We are doing a pathetic job at caring for the senior population that we have. Look how many perished in seniors’ homes from COVID19. Nurses abandoned them and left them alone in many nursing homes. The dementia population is about to triple or quadruple by 2050 and by making people live longer we are only compounding the problems. There is a serious nurse shortage already with many quitting due to vaccine mandate. The future is nothing short of a horror story. It would unfold in 30-40 years. Policy makers and public better start planning how to house the seniors already here and not put in too much work to make that demographic cohort double or triple in size. We are in a deep enough hole that it is time to stop digging. My advice to all is not live past 80 you wont be able to afford it. Forget 180 and 200. Biologists have determined that maximum lifespan is 140 with only rare humans going past 120 but the quality of life is not worth hanging around.
@@maarten7 Seniors have no money Half of them live below poverty. But that is because they live check to check in their earlier years with ZERO SAVINGS. @@sleepsmartsmashstress740 I completely agree. Which people are going to have a good life at 120-200? David Sinclair's father, who is wealthy? Cool - he's started another career and is going off to Africa soon. Many, many seniors can't even afford food or medication.
I'd rather die young than die old. 80 is too old. I wanna go off at 60, *but looking and feeling like 25.* Even if I have all the money in this world, don't wanna be a part of one that's certainly gonna go extinct. But on the other hand, I wanna live infinite years to figure out beyond death and come back to life and give priceless knowledge back to humanity so they fix their mistakes and get back to proper way of life so all can enjoy immortality with a choice to die under their control.
For anyone wondering if NMN works, and is perhaps concerned about people who say it does nothing, perhaps I can share my experience. I'm 36, I take 500mg a day sublingually (which in theory has better bioavailability). I exercise like crazy 4 day a week (which I'll explain the perhaps unclear relevance in a tic) My resting heart rate is 44 to 48bpm, which as I'm 93kg is "non-standard." I also take a lot of olive oil. With people whom say "they don't feel anything" I can understand this if they are not exercising. Where NMN becomes noticeable is in recovery after exercise and cardiovascular fitness, which, you wouldn't notice if you aren't pushing yourself.
I was terribly disappointed in this video. I did not learn anything that I didn't already know. We needed more specific details such as David Sinclair has recently added Fistetin and Quercetin to his regiment of supplements. No updated information! The sound was unprofessional as well. We have to increase the life span; Pleiadian ET society requires schooling to be the equivalent of our 70 years, so without a longer life span, we will be stuck in a scenario where we would be ready for the old folks home after we finish our schooling!!🤣

No, but I would rather like the other 99% of nice people not to suffer with age-related diseases. Just because some people you do not like might use the technology, is no reason to deny it to everyone else.
One thing that annoys me about Aubrey de Grey is that he is quite dismissive of lifestyle factors. Obviously he is right that they are limited in their actual ability to extend life, but the evidence that Dr. Sinclair gave that you can avoid 15 years of physical and mental decline if you follow a good lifestyle is extensive and a really big deal for healthspan. Why is de Grey so dismissive? Because his own lifestyle is terrible. He's an alcoholic. Alcoholics and addicts will go to great lengths to justify their behaviour, and that is what he is doing.

Now substitute "ovaries" for literally any other organ in the entire body and realize that the correlation almost certainly still holds true. So is there a reason this woman is focused entirely on menopause, other than that she desperately wants women to be the key to everything?
I don't like what Jennifer is talking about because she talks predominantly about women. It's not just about women its about all of us. This kind of behaviour is only going to divide us further. What next maybe division about etnicity. But trying to get things like this done are nearly impossible in a world run by governments and entrenched corporations.
@@johnstibal2131 AI research is also developing exponentially, the singularity will most likely happen in about 30 years (and then a few years after that it'll be unimaginable). I'll be somewhat old by then but the reversal of aging wont be pathetic then.
@@nl1575 Good Points, I hope you are right, unlike many people, I would prefer to live much much longer.
A.G.I Will be man's last Invention.
"They will turn back time".
It is strange to me that as individuals we do not think about our own deaths, and we should work out a dollar value on our own lives.....then think about how much should you pay to stay alive! I find most people don't want to think about anything to do with their own death....
Listening to this panel they realise normal medicine is about selling big pharmaceuticals products and pushing treatment to address symptoms rather than cures. I know who I would prefer to get my health advice from!
We have numerous folk tales of people living hundreds of years. It's about time we rediscover what has been lost with our ancestors.
Maybe should reduce the use of the word fascinating
He has the appearance of a youngster. I've also noticed that he acts more like a youngster. more agitated, and I can tell he gets bored easily in recent interviews. like a child who gets tired of being asked the same question over and over. Hope he doesn't get too young.
He is just playing the role, he is middle-aged slow man, achieved nothing. Just lengthy verbal diarrhea and promises
His hair is dyed and I've noticed what you've observed too. He's the son of a rich man and I don't see a lot of thought into what he's trying to achieve. We can also clone but the ethics are questionable and it's very tightly controlled -- for good reason.
Literally seems to fit with that yogi, a member of the group noted.
@@aliengod2039 I have this same theory that fertility is tightly related to aging and immortality. In the future we will be able to switch the aging program off together with the fertility program. We will still age due to environmental factora though !
Therefore its not connected or a marker of longevity by any means
its connected
You are right on the money!
@@maarten7 Seniors have no money Half of them live below poverty. But that is because they live check to check in their earlier years with ZERO SAVINGS. The big fish soak up the labour who get paid half the value of their work. Which is by number of billionaires keeps rising and people keep sinking into poverty. Wealth gap widening is going to destroy the planet and civilization. Future is DARK.
@@maarten7 but you feel like this because you exist... you don't care about your existence sir?

For anyone wondering if NMN works, and is perhaps concerned about people who say it does nothing, perhaps I can share my experience.
I'm 36, I take 500mg a day sublingually (which in theory has better bioavailability). I exercise like crazy 4 day a week (which I'll explain the perhaps unclear relevance in a tic)
My resting heart rate is 44 to 48bpm, which as I'm 93kg is "non-standard."
I also take a lot of olive oil.
With people whom say "they don't feel anything" I can understand this if they are not exercising. Where NMN becomes noticeable is in recovery after exercise and cardiovascular fitness, which, you wouldn't notice if you aren't pushing yourself.
That was discovered years ago with the elixiritirion of life maybe 1500 years
I was terribly disappointed in this video. I did not learn anything that I didn't already know. We needed more specific details such as David Sinclair has recently added Fistetin and Quercetin to his regiment of supplements. No updated information! The sound was unprofessional as well. You can do better! What a shame and waste of my time! RESPECTFULLY...
He says the same thing in every interview and it's getting tired. I haven't seen much to back up his claims either.
The video and audio quality is terrible and not worth the caliber of the panel.
it's academic and works fine, it's not america's next idol
We're sorry you weren't pleased with the quality Jessica. Your feedback has been noted and is appreciated.
Important to ensure financial sustainability before longevity!
Well, well, I hope this pans out. But looking down the road ... what happens to social security and the burden that will be placed on young people. LOL ... I'm an older retired guy, but I wonder what happens to my kids?
Im good...
I eat one meal per day too
They've been saying same thing for a dacade now and nothing progresses. Specially David Cozen.
It's very interesting. Still nice to see David Sinclair as well but would you please stop to bore us with this bullshit covid 19. It last for more than 2 years now, we're completly fed up.
I only know one product that my overall health can rely the most. It's NMN by Vitruvin Health. Cost-effective! 😇🥰
Ageing XPRIZE please
Fascinating😂
Li Ching-Yuen was said to have lived to be 256. The New York Times did a story on him nearly 100 years ago and was said his predecessor lived to be around 500. He was an herbalist and had extraordinary regimens compared to most.
Lets see the proof he is that old.
'said'
Of course, in the last two years life expectancy has dropped.
Maybe one day, billions of people can still live to centuries old to those who are alive today.
Never going to happen…….only for the billionaires

We have to increase the life span; Pleiadian ET society requires schooling to be the equivalent of our 70 years, so without a longer life span, we will be stuck in a scenario where we would be ready for the old folks home after we finish our schooling!!🤣
I can guarantee you this sounds like a BS. Intergalactic species having 70years of government indoctrination(school) … I am sure they liaten to BBC and CNN for another 140 years in order to be completely “educated”.

Claim: There is a strong correlation between the longevity of ovaries and the woman's overall lifespan.
OK sure.
And by the way I always thought that Women live on average longer than Man today so why divide us more.

Sorry...wundt have more constructive to put a panel of people older and that look BETTER than the old giza? What the other youngster are doing there?, hahahah pitiful!
no point, earth will not be here in 100 years......you will need to move to mars
Why?
If people are gonna start living longer, they’ll probably have more children. How will the world cope with such a population? We’re already struggling as it is.
If people can live forever then There can be restrictions on how many kids and many rules also living forever isn't stopping anyone to die it's to give people choice to live
