you can easily parry by stunning an enemy, standing close to them, and taunting. the taunt breaks the enemy out of the stun and lets them activate the parry
Lots of achievements are impossible in one run, John gutter alone needs at least 2, one for combo and destruction, one for “let’s make this quick” because a lap 2 is needed for a full 99 combo, with destroying all the blocks being a better pick instead of rushing with speed.
I insisted on trying to get the shining armor achievement and P rank the level at the same time, would not recommend. Trying to avoid risky walls while trying to maximize points are two very different and conflicting sources of stress
To me it's funny that the first level (John Gutter) is WAY harder than the second one, including the achievements: Jhon Gutter's first achievement is done without even wanting, but make it quick and salvage rage are outrageous. While Pizzascape hardest achievemt is actually fun and just a little bit challenging. I feel like the other two are a little bit forced: parrying forknights it's only justified by the knight theme and spherical is just...Bhru, is this really an achievement?
Let's make it quick is so brutal, but at the same time it's one of the most fun experiences in the game. It makes me wish there was a special medal for beating each level in a certain amount of time, trying to P rank John gutter vs trying to beat it in under two minutes are two completely different experiences
I think that spoonknight and spherical could be better: i would make that spoonknight consists in killing ten spoonknights with the knight armor and then spherical something like killing several enemies in ball form or going from the start to the end of the room in ball form.
For spherical they could do the same thing as with Pig City and make it so, kinda like killing 3 enemies with the rat kick, you kill 3 enemies in ball form.

John Gutter seems to be the only level where it's impossible to get all achievements in one run
