❄️ I’m SO IMPRESSED Wendy ! ❄️ WHAT AN IMAGINATION YOU MUST HAVE IN CREATING THESE !!! This is exactly one of the many reasons why I love watching all of your video’s, … you include us in the process of forming the basic structure and then you try various elements such as colourants, glowing stones and different “floaty things” to see what works & what you would change & why. THAT’S INNOVATION AT IT’S BEST !! I think “the world is your oyster” as the saying goes, when it comes to the many ways of colouring and decorating these. I can see more artists recreating these, and adding their own spin on things from a decorative point of view. Wendy, I think you’ve started a new trend for us resiners to play with for sure ! Shhhh ! … what’s that ? I think I can almost hear the whispers from the “Let’s Resin Scientists” as they work quick like elves, late into the night formulating that polyurethane resin to magically be offered in deep black ! Thank you Wendy ! You have started off the Christmas resin season with a HUGE bang ! As always, this is a FANTASTIC video ! Wishing EVERYONE lots of magical Christmas wishes from Canada ! ❄️🎄Julie 🎄❄️

They are so cool. If you were to leave out the liquid what you put in the middle would shake really well. Like a shaker card. I love, love, love the owl! Thank you for sharing ❤
Amazing shakers coasters,Ms Wendy 💜💜😍😍,those glitters ,silicon inlays are so beautiful. Loved when you charged them with light to watch in glow in dark effects, really beautiful all of them💜💜💜💜😍😍😍
Oh Wendy thank you so kindly for sharing another amazing video with us all. Absolutely love these. I will be making some for children on my Christmas gift list ❤❤❤ Take great care Love xoxo 😘
Wow, just love the craftwork you do. Also love the videos, they are great to watch, am learning so much, thank you for putting so much effort into them so we can learn...
You always think of cute ideas I never would. For me it's a tops up between the owl and Santa for the one I like best. I'm like you I think the stones don't work. Or I wonder if they would have if you left the mica powder off the ones with the rocks and just used the dark bottom layer if you might have liked them more. Just a thought. Thank you for another fun idea Wendy. 💗
What a lovely idea, Wendy! These turned out GREAT! 😍❤👍 LOVE the owl...my favorite! I think I like the chrome edge better, too. I wonder what these would look like with ghost/ethereal powder in the backs, and a white background? Helpful hint...maybe? Leaving an air bubble in helps the floaties move, or so everybody says. Not tried it, yet!
I love the owl coaster best, but they all came out so cute 😍😍😍😍, like you said, the background color should have been darker but I love the glow in the dark stones you used. Wendy, please what is the best way to make inlays, I've tried a couple of different ways but they are not the best that I see on your channel.
I haven't used polyurethane, however with resin the best black I've used is crushed up coal. When you clean out your fire, just get a nice black piece of coal, use your mortal and pestle to grind it down to a superfine (very important) powder, and mix it into your liquid like mica powder. Gives a beautiful jet black result with no shimmer. Let us know if you try it please. I've been thinking about making shakers, thank you for sharing what not to do as well as what works, very helpful.
I think it does depend on the device you are watching on and weather your using an add blocker 🤔 I don’t get them on my tv because it’s not an interactive screen. But they were definitely there 🤣🤣 Thank you 💜
Amazing as usual! Is there a reason for mot using pigment past instead of mica powder? I've not used it as yet but have read several times it's more pigmented 😮
❤ I know you didn't have a lot of room in the molds but couldn't you put a very thin clear coat and let it dry before you put inlays in. I love your tiny inlays the best, they are so sweet.
Yes you can. I do just that usually. Sadly on this occasion I was running short on time. So had to cut corners on the time frame. Hence the polyurethane white resin 😖 But if time allows. Definitely do that 👍💜
A vacuum chamber needs a vacuum pump to work. In total they cost about £150 more. They take up more space as they work together. They are noisier. But faster. So if you want real quick, then perhaps you should spend out more money on the vacuum chamber. Mine sits in the garage, collecting dust. Hope that helps 💜
If you want black polyurethane, you'll need to purchase black polyurethane. You can't change a white substance to black, you can only make it a "darker white."
@ yes I have that and it’s brilliant to use. But I can’t use it in a video that’s sponsored by a specific company. 🤷♀️😀 maybe let’s resin will make black polyurethane soon 🤞
The owl inlay is now available on my website. toonpish.com/products/chunky-owl-silicone-inlay
The owl is my favourite, but they are all gorgeous
It does seem a popular choice 😀😀 thank you 🥰

Wendy, please what is the best way to make inlays, I've tried a couple of different ways but they are not the best that I see on your channel.

I have a few videos on my channel that show you 😀😀 these ones were made from wooden cookie moulds 😀💜👍
I haven't used polyurethane, however with resin the best black I've used is crushed up coal. Okay so now I need a coal fireplace 🤔😖
I will have to ask around to see if I can get some.
But thank you so much for telling me about this 😀💜👍
@Toonpish you're very welcome. I forget not everyone has a wood fire, oops. Even a campfire will do. As long as the wood has burned down to coals.

Another great idea Wendy. Which of your owl inlays was this one as its beautiful?
toonpish.com/products/chunky-owl-silicone-inlay
There you go 😀💜
Hi Wendy love the video, was thinking would this work if I lay the silicone mould in the coaster mould, facing upwards,
Yes it would work.
But it would mean building up the back with doming.
Can be tricky as you will need it quite thick 😀💜
Amazing as usual! Is there a reason for mot using pigment past instead of mica powder? I've not used it as yet but have read several times it's more pigmented 😮
I don’t have any 🤔😳 but I try the black liquid pigment that I have soon. Not sure if it will work though 🤷♀️😀💜

The owl is out of this world. So is Father Christmas. No one I know is into shakers.
What molds did you use for inlays?
Well it’s not for everyone 😀💜👍
@@Toonpishoh, I plan to make these, without them being shakers. As you were replying I was editing: What molds did you use for the inlays?

what's the different between the Let's Resin debubbler and a Vaccum Chamber

@Toonpish thanks it does help me
Would it be less messy to dunk the inlays into the resin cup first?
Not really as they will be really slippery to hold on to. I can imagine me dropping them a lot 🤣🤣🤣
But it might work for you 😀💜
@ I was thinking of using tweezers. Will have to give it a try both ways. Thanks for all you do : )
@ you might do better than me 😀💜
Can you links in your discription for shopping please.
All links are in the more information section at the bottom of the video 😀😀 what specifically are you looking for?
I use a mirror instead of a white paper.
Good idea 😀😀💜👍
@ 👍🏻🎄
The other ones needed some sort of defining outline.
🤔🤔 great idea 👍

If you want black polyurethane, you'll need to purchase black polyurethane. You can't change a white substance to black, you can only make it a "darker white."
Well quite probably 🤣🤣 but I’m stubborn 🤷♀️😀
Why not use buy back polyurethane
Because Letsresin don’t have that yet sadly. 🤷♀️😖😀💜
But mb fibreglass in uk does plus they do a black pigment as well
@ yes I have that and it’s brilliant to use.
