Holy crap! I am blown away by this!! Like seriously this is so flipping good?!?! (I’m trying not to swear up a storm right now but I’m freaking out!)
For one, love the design for Batman. It looks patched and homemade and really puts the idea that he’s still somewhat new to crime fighting.
POISON IVY??? Helloo?? I am in love with her character design. I adore how she isn’t overtly sexualized (although I do love and respect when women flaunt theirs bodies and own themselves and just wear whatever they want). She isn’t the male gaze Poison Ivy but her own person (female gaze? Is that a thing?). Love how she’s plus sized and it’s not played for a joke or how she’s undesirable or anything because she is so pretty, good lord I am in love with her!😳
The song fits so perfect! I’m not the biggest Batman fan so I’m not sure if this is simply a fan animatic or a scene from a comic but I love the idea of Bruce/Batman having a relationship with Pam before she turns ‘evil’ (really, wanting to save the planet isn’t evil and I support women’s rights and wrongs). Like it seems that they really do care for one another. Bat/Bruce trying to talk her out of her master plan while Pam/Poison Ivy keeps him locked away and safe from it all.
Love love love the art style!!! It’s a mixture of comic book and prince of Egypt in my opinion and I would watch twelve seasons of this show hands down!!

Tysm for your lovely comment!! This takes place quite early on when Batman has only been around for a few years, so I'm glad that came across.
While Bruce and Pam have encountered each over before she turns into Ivy, it was only ever in the professional sense. As seen in the flashback, Bruce was involved in denying any more funding towards Pam's Greenhouse project on behalf of Wayne Industries. As a result Ivy feels a lot of resentment towards Bruce, as well as Batman (for well, being Batman and a huge nuisance). Meanwhile Batman feels a crazyy amount of guilt for having a hand in Ivy becoming a supervillain. At this point in the timeline Bruce is super disconnected from his responsibilities at Wayne Industries so his complacency in his role deeply impacts a lot of the other Batman Rogues (before they even become them!)
For Poison Ivy's design it was really important to me to showcase a character that is classically known in comics to be alluring to still be so with larger body type. I also wanted to convey the duality of The Green (what she infused with) and how it can be both inviting (flowers on arms) and deadly (venus flytrap collar)
It means so much to me that someone has enjoyed this!! I love drawing these characters and expanding on their world in my own way
