I think its a tougher sell incomplete vs completing it for very little money or breaking it down for parts. Will definatley be cleaned whichever way it goes.
Er, I thought I had commented but it doesn’t appear to be here….🤔? Ok, so there might be 2 from me which will say (mostly) what I typed earlier… Anyway, important things first, Happy (belated!) Birthday to Mrs Brick Arena, hope she had a good day. Millennium Falcon? I think complete (assuming the canopy part isn’t ridiculously expensive) and leave it on the selling site of your choice at least for a few weeks (and given that you may be at the gym for a few hours per week during working hours) and see what happens. You can always part it out if it doesn’t sell. Going back to last week and car repair…..£700 mainly on labour as it seems modern cars need to be nearly completely stripped back to the chassis in order to replace two (reasonably priced) linkage cables. Anyway, all fixed which was good because it turned out I needed to do a lot of driving, which brings us nicely on to KDDK time! For the many car journeys the soundtrack was some Mr Pell and Darkwater. Now, I can see why Darkwater supported Threshold, similar music stylings and lyrical leanings, and I like the album but at the moment I feel they are just lacking that something that will make them standout but let’s see what they do on the next album! Nothing new on the CD player at home, still enjoying the DarWin album, starting on the other The Pineapple Thief albums (well don’t want to bore the neighbours by continuously playing the new Airbag album - right from the first track I was hooked 😀). New Voices of Atlantis album (Pirates II) just arrived so will be able to report on that next week. Right, think that’s more or less what I typed earlier (watch UA-cam put the original comment up now and then will look like an idiot).
Ah, sorry you have had to repeat yourself. Funny how UA-cam does that sometimes. I think you may be right about the Falcon. Glad you got the car sorted, though I suspect it has put a halt to some Lego (and possibly CD) purchases. At least you now have a place to crank some tunes :) Darwater is another new one to me but I'm spinning it now and am quite intrigued so far. Sounds right up my street. Honestly, where would we be without the Swedes? There are so many amazing Swedish bands. Pain of Salvation, A.C.T., The Poodles, & Seventh Wonder being some of my favs that spring to mind (sounds like a good UA-cam music topic - 10 Best Swedish Bands). Like you I am still pretty hooked on DarWin. I did try an Airbag album (albeit an older one), but it didn't grab me. Definitely needs more spins. It was just a tad too "indy" for me. Other than that I have been listening to some Alan Parsons Project remasters and some Frank Zappa and the Mothers plus the afore mentioned Seventh Wonder at the gym (The Great Escape is an incredible album). Thankfully I haven't had to respond twice :) Better luck next week.
@@BrickArena Ah, the Alan Parsons Project that takes me back (need to dig some of those out!) Yes, all spending is under close review 😀 (though the first two Darkwater albums are very tempting….umm next month ! - and there is a Pain of Salvation connection). Airbag? Yes, definite indy leanings on a few songs 😀. To me they sort of fit into an early Porcupine Tree / Riverside triangle if that makes sense. Right, let’s go play Eve and I Robot by APP.
With the falcon. If I'm breaking up used sets. I import the set in and part it out as used. Organize the parts by colour. Shouldn't take too long.
Yeah, thats how I'd approach it. Just not sure which way to go in terms of effort vs return.
I suggest you sell the Falcon as is for like 30-40 pounds.
Easy and good money.
You might want to wash it off a bit though :)

@@BrickArena Yeah but for complete you need all figures too so
@TheSwedishOak sorry I mean to complete the falcon only, no figs
Option 3- send to me and I will rebuild it😂
