I feel like a 'broken record' as once again Blackpool fail to convert their chances especially in a 2nd half of almost complete dominance as Oxford dug in and defended heroically. Luckily the once chance that Oxford had in the 2nd half didn't go in when a far post header 2 yards out somehow hit the post and bounced kindly for once.
It would have been a total injustice if it had, so dominant were Blackpool but so often 'chances come back to haunt you' as my dad would say so in the end at least we got a point .

Didn't see you yesterday (I was on a different door) good match (From what saw) and so close (post) to losing, but needed to win. Fans (all the ones I spoke to) were positive.
Hi Coxie yes I thought we played well but once again the final ball, the split second decision, the shots straight at the keeper and our defending at corners let us down.
Lots of positives to be taken out of it though

Was in the north stand and we tried our best to get the boys going especially 2nd half.
Obv we had most of the play but a lot of our attempts were straight forward for their keeper aside from that one moment when he managed to claw it out from on the goal line, however i feel Oxford were more dangerous and can thank Big Marv and the post for keeping it at 1
Overall a draw was a fair result but not what either team needed
Yes you were superb on the North in the 2nd half and totally agree like I said in the video it was another one of those games where the final ball let us down in spite of all of our domination and Oxford had the best chances and should have scored. Quite right it wasn't the best result for either team but I imagine they were happier getting something out of the game than we were

you were both a lot more upbeat than i was at full time aha, i must say this season has turned into a real real disapointment. We just havent kicked on at any point really at all and every time we've threatened to, it's been followed up by a 3 game winless run like were on now or something like that. The home form overall has been quite good but as we all know we've really let ourselves down away this season and i think 4 of our next 5 league games are away so really we can forget play offs i think now. Not sure i agree about critchley's in game tactics either to spot weaknesses, rather the opposite he's completely hopeless at turning games around. How often do we ever get anything when the chips are down? We havent won a single game yet from a losing position in the league and even these last two home games weve taken the lead but as soon as were pegged back to 1-1 weve had absolutely no answer. He can't seem to affect a game, the subs came on way too late, no changes till about 72 minutes yesterday and even then it's always just like for like. Other than wigan at home and fleetwood away i can't remember a single time he's made impactful substitutions this season and fleetwood was only by virtue of the glaringly obvious errors he made to the starting lineup, it didnt take a rocket scientist to realise what needed to be done there. Overall a really bland and underwhelming campaign when really we have a squad of players that should be title contenders based on ability alone and unless were cruising to a win at a canter, we just don't find any other way to take 3 points and when you know that's the case it kills all hope and passion you would otherwsie have during a game. I hate to say it but i knew we wouldn't win yesterday once they scored their equaliser.
I can't be too miserable and downbeat because Jane won't tolerate it and a happy Jane is a happy me.

@edwinhesketh9720 oh geez man if ya went to Cheltenham I do feel for you. That sounded about as bad as it can get. I don't know the best way to play and I'm not a coach but to keep getting beaten away by bottom of the table clubs that just seem to try harder than we do? surely we have to try a different approach?

I mean do you start with that last night??? For a team not far outside the play offs why the fuck did we look like we didn’t even want to play?? Every one of them looked like they couldn’t be arsed I mean wtf do they just want the season to end already?? Cos that’s what their body language suggested.
I said didn’t I that the manager doesn’t affect a game one little bit, and again when we went 1-0 down I said ‘we’re gonna lose this 1 or 2-0’ I didn’t wanna be proven right but I was and it’s fuckin infuriating that we’re that predictable. Teams must be absolutely buzzing to play us at home right now

Feel Kouassi offers more than Lavery. If Byers is a good as his reputation suggests then needs to replace Norburn or Morgan. The opposition are winning too many headers from corners. The playoffs look remote.
So much more Ian. Lavery is 'a pest' but most of what he does is chasing and harrying without the ball. When he has the ball so often it doesn't just come off I don't know if it's because he fears getting injured again. At the end of the 1st half he seemed to have gotten himself in front of the keeper as the ball was bouncing toward the goal but somehow he didn't manage to get his head on it before the keeper stretched a long arm round him to paw the ball away...it was just one of those infernal 'almost' 'nearly' moments that we suffer every week at the moment
