Hi Michael, we are coming to Edinburgh for Christmas this year, looking at the night time lines is it better going an hour or so before sunset or do they close it in between the day time - night time crowds?
I am definitely going on the Star Flyer if I can find a hotel with vacancies if not I will book next year Edinburgh is a 4 hour train ride for me and I am looking forward to exploring the Scottish countryside

@@edinburghandbeyond Not a season ticket holder any more. First game was in 1977! Purely an armchair fan now. What Rob and Ryan have done, not just for the football club but for the whole community is staggering. You don't hear half of what they have done. We're very lucky.
We head ovr on 8 Dec. Glad to see Starflyer back, it was missed last yr (not that I ever would go on it😅). I heard the Parliament steps have reopened too, can you enter market that way too? I wish they'd bring back the ice-rink to Princes St where it used to be. Was such a lovely feature, so Xmasy. No word of Jenners reopening? Miss the coffee shop where we sat looking out at the market😢

night time is busy people wanna see the light during day weekday ok not as busy more room to move
