Another masterful song from Beast In Black. They're just releasing their second album, but they're already a band that people associate with the likes of Nightwish and Sabaton. I think they must be one of the bands that will inspire/help bring about the next generation of Finnish metal.

Try listening to Raven Black, they are a heavy metal band with a female lead vocalist. They are a small band so nobody really knows who they are, but I believe they deserve a bigger fan base due to how great their music is
Well if you like some ABBA in your metal... you are probably acquainted with AMBERIAN DAWN? That one comes even closer to the ABBA vibes on select tracks... and with a tougher instrumentation, the recipe comes off just brilliant! I have not checked if these two reactors have ever done AMBERIAN DAWN, but they would be in for a lot of "orgasmic" stuff. ;)
@@bigg2988 No I don't care about ABBA in my metal. Beast in Black just seems to have that presence in some tracks. Amberian Dawn? I had a look, don't care for their music at all, sounds like something from some Princess Diaries theme in Pixie Fantasy Land.
@@ulfpatrick3788 Well they are not always soft - check "Dragonflies" from the last album... Btw the best thing about Yannis and the band is that they can do all that stuff live. Saw them opening for Nightwish in December and if the concert ad ended with BiB's last song, I would have gone home a happy man already. They were absolutely awesome live. And as far as the ABBA reference is going, I think you're kinda right about it. It seems that an increasing lot of bands incorporate pop elements in their music (I haven't listen to your Soilwork review so far, but I've listened to the album and you can find some of those elements as well) and as someone who started his musical journey with the likes of Madonna, Michael Jackson and Depeche Mode, I don't mind it too much, as long as there's still the metal base underneath it. Maybe it's not even so poppish per se but it's that those bands are brave enough to be very melodic when a lot of metal is all about being dissonant. I love it when both comes together, which probably explains why I'm so much into Power Metal, Symphonic Metal and Melodic Death Metal. Oh yeah, and please react to the new songs by Jinjer, Delain, Evergrey and Dream Theatre.
