They need a Marco Polo Benz here in Canada.. that’s more luxurious and completely factory.. you’d also buy from the dealer and get more competitive rates and negotiation.. the metris lacks power options, luxury and awd.. it’s not up with the times.. it’s poorly rated as a van and that’s why it’s being discontinued.. a touch screen with a few whistles doesn’t cut it.. you have to manually do everything.. no sunroof or driver comfort.. the water connection is ridiculous and it’s priced at a luxury price.. in the end you are in a van by the river for over 100k.. completely ridiculous.. if Canada gets factory camper vans here.. it’s game over.. until then these outfitters have a monopoly on this market.. it is what it is.. it’s a depreciating asset.. save your money.. if you don’t own a home or homeless, then this might be the alternative for you
Once you start driving Metris you will never look back at VW. I started my life in hippie wagon, now we have Metris camper van with pop up Just going to Eisenhower tunel from Keystone Colorado VW versus Mercedes Metris no comparison. Would you want to drive VW Bug or Porsche tub? Would you want to compare them? The motor looks simular ...VW or Porsche 🙂
