    Y’all should do a going through your daily routine when you guys are working the horses that has like little parts of what y’all are doing from day to day at the barn or in general since we’re in down time and under quarantine. 😊

    All our horses are out together and they do have a Pecking order. But we bring them in for about 6 hours a day to eat and for those in work and they get worked. Most of them take naps in the stalls it's quite funny

    You should do a vid on your new colts and filly’s and your routine with starting them on training or something like that. One day I want to train a horse from a foal to full grown adult... like you do. I always try to learn as much as I can before jumping into something like that so a video coming from you would be really cool. BTW I love you and your videos😁.

    It is really great that you take good care about all these things, the water, the natural fly spray, etc. I wonder though, why you keep the horses seperate all the time? You are so careful about keeping and doing everything as naturally as possible. The most natural thing for horses is living in a herd with other horses 24/7. I realise that is not possible all the time, depending on where one lives and what kind of setup one has, but at least outside I would keep them in groups of at least 4 horse for several hours a day. A group that is well knit doesn't really increase the risk of injuries.
    My horses live together 24/7 and so far have never injured one other. When I was on vacation in the US last year and drove through the country I saw lots of single horses outside their barns and I started wondering, if that is 'a thing' in the US, but I did not want to make any assumptions based solely on driving around the countryside. Wouldn't be fair.

    Hi I am about to turn 16 in may. I am planning on finishing highschool, and going off to college to become a veterinarian. Since I was about 13 I have wanted a horse. But my parents keep saying no or wait till I'm a vet. And of course I tell them we already live on a farm wants another animal. I also told them that I am planning on getting a job and saving all my money to pay for a horse. I also said that I would take care of it. I would feed, water, groom, give it attention. They still said no. So in order not to bug my parents anymore I was wondering what your thoughts/advice on me getting a horse are. Also take into consideration that I really dont know how to ride but I have taken about 5 to 6 lessons so far, and plan on taking many more. And just like you I wear a helmet.

    • @fallontaylor
      @fallontaylor  4 роки тому +5

      Get the job first so they know you are serious about the work you are willing to put in! Pay for your own lessons first and get more experience and that will show them again how responsible you are! After that I’m sure they will come around. Parents want their kids to take action towards the goal before saying yes! ❤️
