This is hands down the best DooM remix/medley whatever music thing. This is so good and you are so freaking talented! I sat here headbanging the whole time, I don't think I have ever enjoyed a DooM remix/medley this much before. Thanks for really making my day with this dude!
Fantastic remix, get my like! Also, HUGE respect for being one of the rare people to realize the awesomeness of E2M01. Such a hectic song, perfectly fitting a hectic level full of new things!
I never really liked E1M1 music that much, even back in the day, but you really brought new life to it, this version is super enjoyable... For Doom2, Entryway I find to be such an underrated track, I find it one of the best, specially the solo at the middle, but the map itself is so short that you don't hear much of that song
I know it’s kinda late, and I’m not sure if you’ll answer, but we really need the midi files for these songs so we could put them in doom, they’re SO GOOD!
He's stated it before, but he doesn't plan on releasing any of his midi files. At least not until he's done with music, which probably won't be anytime soon
Its probably a command prompt, since DOOM WAS a PC game, and you could put commands to put stuff like cheats or access secret levels. At least, that`s what I think, since I`m not too much of a DOOM fan anyway. XD
Gotta ask what sound canvas you used for the midi. Sounds like the original Roland SC-55 or SC-88 but I can't really tell sometimes. Still amazing nonetheless!
Hahaha well at least it's somewhat recognizable. I'm a super Doom nerd so those sound fonts and canvases pop out to me. Still an awesome remix and so is the OPL version!
Based on the Power drums and distortion/overdrive guitars, it's a SC-55, for sure. A SC-88 would have different sounds here. Unless you've used a SC-88 in SC-55 mode, of course.
I love all your versions of this DOOM medley :) To be honest, I'd be curious to hear this one rendered on my Roland SC-8850, Yamaha MU1000, or... Arachno SoundFont! May I ask you the original MIDI file, to check this by myself? ;) I'm asking this here, because I'm sure others will be interested by the MIDI file as well. (But you can also send it to me in private - I'll not share it without your consent!)
Very, very nice! Quite interesting to hear, as it actually sounds less balanced than the original Sound Canvas version, with some instruments sounding too quiet, and some others sounding too loud. Roland Sound Canvas modules were praised - and still are - for their extremely accurate volume balance between instruments - this mix is a perfect proof of that fact :) Thanks for fulfilling my request!
MIDI format was used back in the day because there was not much storage space to spare, storage was tight, and a MIDI music track will only occupy a few kilobytes in space, just like MOD music (also known as chip music, music that is stored and played by the own CPU processor chip itself)
Man this shit is amazing

Wow this is... incredible?! I never would have guessed, that a Doom medley can sound *that* awesome.
Would you allow people to use this Midi in a WAD?
Dear God. PLEASE remix the entire soundtrack in this style. You deserve your own music mod.
Agree. The MIDI files can be easily loaded into Doom, so the game replaces the music by these new tracks if wanted.
I can actually do that
Make some tweaks to the level designs to be more polished and then put these remixed tracks on them and make that a .Wad

suggestion: Road Rash 3 remixes =D
Is the part after 1:57 inspired by Deep Purple? It really reminds me of them, with the organ and all :P
Not intentionally but Deep Purple is my favorite band so I think it is 🤣
Do MMX or other soundfont medley of any other Doom games :D
This is reminiscent of the in-game music in many of the sega games, just MUCH better!

What does MIDI mean?
Tsubasa Osora musical instrument digital interface
basically it's a format where music is laid out like sheet music and is set to different instruments- think of Mario Paint Composer.
Tsubasa Osora old skool video game music \m/
