Kudos to you, Ms. Gretchen! I am a Baguio local, my parents are both Cordillerans, and I truly appreciate this effort from you and your team. You have truly highlighted and showcased the beauty of Benguet's places and the hearts of the people. May God bless and keep you a thousandfold. 💖
As an agriculture student, your stories have been really helping me understand more the crises that our local farmers and local communities are experiencing nowadays and empathize w them. Hoping that the gov't would immensely support & prioritize our farmers and take action (kahit parang malabo lol). Thank you for taking us through the places you visit and providing us w such informative contents. Take care always, ms. gretch! 💙
I agree Farmers are so Important in any Country kc galing sa kanila ang food na nabibili natin .
Super super ganda Ng story and very relevant. I like din structure Ng storytelling or presentation ng story. It's a mix of adventure, immersion, fact reporting and charity / livelihood training.
My hometown. Thank you ma'am for featuring our place.
I'm a senior citizen watching this. I was hesitant at first subscribing. I've watched her being paired with an actor before both hosting a program on Ateneo. She's a natural beauty and very intelligent. I'm glad she has her own vlog now and a very interesting and entertaining one and she's really good. Keep it up Girl. Ur up for greater things in this world.
Our country needs contents like this. Makes me love my country more and understand what is going around. Plus hearing Bullet Dumas in the outro. Wow! Thank you miss Gretchen! You earned one subscriber here. Bless you and your team! 🇵🇭⛰️🌾
Im glad I stumbled upon this genuine, pure, very informative channel. This is what people or students should be watching,it beats hours of sitting in school😁Thank you for featuring my home,Im a proud Igorot born and raised as a farmer, but due to this unstable system,a lot of us are forced to leave and practice our farming skills abroad. Thank you for checking on our situation, more than anything you gave, is you became our voice. Youre my next Kara David, sorry to name her Ms Gretchen Ho but I see you as her, very sweet and real. May the Lord bless you and I wish you never stop touching peoples lives like u just did of mine.
My dad recommend that I watch this episode of yours. The mark up is too much with all the middlemen these crops go through. We need to end this and help all our farmers. I hope you'll tackle more local and national issues that will be an eye opener to us. And for the viewers, liking is not enough, let's do our part as consumers.
The right person who can lead this problem is the one who knows the ins and outs of vegetable/fruit farming and trading. If this is solved, both farmers and consumers will benefit. Programming, upgrading and regulations about middlemen is good.
I was teary eyed while watching your video because of the mixed information from start to finish. Hoping/praying for better lives of our countrymen. Thank you Ms Gretchen. God bless.
Ones p lng ak nakapunta dyan s Baguio ang ganda at ang sarap ng simoy ng hangin dyan at mura mga vegetables kaya go Ms Gretchen for are beautiful part of are Philippines
My roots come from the North (Ilocos). Although I never lived there, I grew up eating a LOT of fresh vegetables. Sure, we love our meats, but we always have one vegetable dish in every meal. As kids, we'd whine and say, "Oh no, we're eating grass and flowers AGAIN lol! Hindi talaga nawawala ang gulay. Seeing how vegetables grow so well in the north, I feel like I'd totally love living in Benguet. The cool weather plus the fresh vegetables. I just hope one day Filipino farmers will get the support from the govt. I just subscribed. I think this'll be a new fave yt channel after Erwan's Featr.
Farming is like a game of luck. Farmers hope for good weather condition to harvest quality farm produce and hope that the traders/ middlemen can give them fair price commensurate to the amount of money, time and volume of hard work they invest on their products. I hope the government gives them 100% support because, they are the ones who bring food on our tables, they are ones who constantly maintain our nation's food security. Improving and modernizing farming, providing them high-tech food storage facilities to keep their products fresh from farm to market and monitoring trading process to ensure that the farmers gets a fair financial return of their investment. If we do these, there will be no reason for us to import agricultural products from other countries.
500 hectares ng kamag-anak namin n̶i̶n̶a̶k̶a̶w̶ kinuha ng gobyerno more than 20 years ago due to CARP.
Yes mam, at sana our government can remove ung middlemen. Para 100% ung kita ng farmers will be theirs. Hopefully someday we can see our farmers get the 100% support from the national govt.
I already watched this in OnePH but I still love watching it again here in YT and see the beauty of nature in Benguet. Thanks Ms Gretchen Ho for sharing this here in YT. Woman in Action is the best.
I’m glad of the benefits of social media nowadays (basta huwag sa maling paraan gamitin 😆). I came from a generation of farmers, noong high school ako kapag start ng school year magpapakilala ka at kung anong trabaho ng parents mo. I was often laughed at because my parents are farmers. Pero may isa akong teacher na nagtanggol sa akin, he scolded my classmate who commented bad and taught the whole class a lesson: “without the farmers, any other profession will not prosper (will eventually die down).” I think during pandemic nakita na natin na “pagkain” lang ang kailangan natin para mabuhay. Sobrang tama yung teacher na yun. Para sa isang simpleng buhay, all you need to live is food. All you need is a farmer. Respetado kasi naa-appreciate nila yung value mo as a person who works hard to put food on their tables. Mayaman kasi protected sila ng government against “traders and cartels”. The government supports them in many ways that they can sell directly to consumers, their produce are from “farm to table” talaga.
Inspiring. Gretch show s a breath f fresh air. You showed that Pinas s self sufficient. Take care f our farmers. Thanks for showing Atok Bguet lsndscape.

I agree. Where have all the pine trees have gone especially the pine trees near Camp John Hay. I heard they were cut down. Those trees have lived for decades and a person rose into power to have them cut down.

thank you for this video! we are from Benguet and we also have a farm. sobrang hirap maslalo na kung may Bagyo.

Ms. Gretchen, you won't make it as a farmer. You're fired! I visited Benguet province in 1971, but I didn't get to go to the Haight farm. I liked Bagiuo. I remember the big market there. Thanks Ms. Gretchen!
