I really enjoy these packing shows. Specifically speaking, no one does them. I'm not sure why, but I find them relaxing. Great idea to have these as stand alone releases.
Thanks for these videos. I've been a reseller for years and never have thought outside the box on how to reshape boxes etc. So even old dogs can learn new tricks
This was the perfect video to work to because I still got to feel like I was "watching" a video while I worked, but I wasn't constantly distracted by what cool new garage sale find you were showing us. 😁 Plus, more seriously, I like the idea that if I ever have to pack something really large, or awkward, or extra fragile, I can easily find these videos to see if you have any helpful hints I can try. Thanks!
Thank you Lonny for the video. You are a pro!! I have learned so much from you. I would like to learn how to do the printing of shipping labels, but understand you don't want to let us see the customers information. Have a great day.
I got one of my packaging pet peeves today. I gambled on getting an omnibus style hardcover graphic novel from 3rd party Amazon, and the seller shipped it in one of those awful sticky-on-the-inside cardboard mailing envelopes. Absolutely the worst idea to ship a book like that! Only way that's worse is a poly envelope with no padding. Thankfully this book arrived with only some small dings to one corner. I appreciate your thoroughness with all things you ship.
I’m new in this business . I just watch you do your majgic so smoothly . I would like two questions answer . 1) where do you get your boxes to purchase from ? 2) do you use UPS company ? And use mostly ups Ground Advantage . Fees with metric weight ? Thanks . I’m trying to learn from the experts and warriors on the front line .
Love these! I'll pack it "upside down" and then I'm covering that barcode on the box with my label. Unless of course I'm resizing the box, then I'm cutting that barcode off or covering it with flaps.
Lonnie, I’m surprised you didn’t wrap the keys on that cracker in tissue paper or bubble wrap on its own…before doing the outer wrapping? Just from experience…do you know it’ll be just fine this way/not needed?
I remember getting mail order comics back in 80's and they only came in a brown paper mailer around them not even covering the ends. Amazingly, never had any damage and, if I remember properly, I still have them in my comic boxes. I don't think they would make it through the mail now. 😂🤣
Loved the video. Bags just aren't meant to open up easy. I do notice that most often when you put paper in first, you don't bunch any of it on the bottom. You do on the top but it seems to leave little protection on the bottom. Just wondering.
Place between your hands and rub rapidly as if your hands are cold . I ended up buying some bags on Amazon ,, in other sz. A bit thicker , easy to handle. Not that much more money .
Thanks for watching, and I fully understand not everyone will agree with every pack. I am not going to attempt to “defend” any of it in the comments, that would be never ending. Again, thanks for watching.
Agree about customer perception. I quit using beat up used boxes because I think it made my buyers predisposed to thinking their item might be damaged somehow.
why would you bulk edit everything???? worse case you have drive to the post office and drop them off on Friday by 5. Love your content and these packing vids
Hi Lonnie I have to say you trigger all my OCD. you take a 4 oz Hot Wheel that should be shipped at 8 oz and turn it into a pound. By not trimming the cardboard that was excess you immediately added 4 to 6 oz of weight in that baseball glove I want a bubble wrapped it and put it in a poly mailer bag cuz every dollar matters and it would not gotten hurt in delivery process I have been selling on eBay for 23 years learn to start cutting the flaps especially if it puts you over into the next weight class

It's easy content too. You don't have to plan anything out, you just record yourself doing what you were going to do anyway.

Does ground advantage automatically use cubic when it’s the cheaper option? Or do you have to select it somewhere?
On eBay it does automatically use cubic pricing.
I fight w those same 10 gallon bags every time i try to open them. If anyone knows how to easily open them please share.
Try getting your fingers a little wet and then open them. Something about the water makes them come open easily.

Question for you Lonnie. Why don’t you run the scoring tool along the t-square instead of drawing the line than scoring.

Lonnie and The Dispensers makin' music.
I like these videos
👍

I don’t think you can use to much paper
You do not include invoices in your box. Do you include them on your label, or do you think invoices are no longer needed? Regards!
I like to save my tape rolls. They work great to protect small fragile items, like dog figurines!
They can be useful for neatly tying up cables too.
