    Zanoz,
This song was released 12 months after her first appearance on Andre's stage in Maastricht, and it's very evident that the time on tour has been a wonderful experience for her, she's been getting standing ovations every place she performs, we were blown away by her performance in Dublin in May, it's hard to describe the difference between hearing it on a video, and being there in the venue, you don't just hear it, you feel it with every part of your being, and it has a huge effect, and even though you know exactly what's coming, it still hits home so hard, and so deep, looking at that incredibly dynamic yet tiny young woman living her dream on that stage, literally letting her vulnerability be seen by everyone, yet singing so powerfully about her life, and her experience, and then, this year, the new song, written 20 years ago, before Emma was born, but never before performed, this song was beyond sublime, and Emma put all of herself into it, and it showed, a sublime performance of a challenging song, and she's found ways to add so many little extras that are new, a wonderful tribute by her to the masterful way that Andre and the orchestra have nurtured her talent and skill over the last year.
From May onward, she was touring Europe with Andre, and at the same time, in the breaks, she was performing a series of concerts in the Netherlands that are an annual event held to commemorate the huge number of lives lost in liberating the country from the German occupation in WWII, she sang at a number of venues, the largest was in Amsterdam, where she sang a very powerful duet with April Darby, 'When you believe',

This concert took place on a special stage on water in Amsterdam, in the presence of the Dutch Royal family, and a significant number of high ranking politicians, and she absolutely nailed the performance.
For me, her strongest performance of this series was in the Hague, a Demi Levato cover of a technically challenging song, 'Father', and she absolutely excelled in this one, an incredible performance.

From the same concert, another cover, 'Hero',

From the same series of concerts, 'You raise me up',

A very recent upload, a video of an upcoming Disney concert in Amsterdam next January, this preview from the awards show is stunning, her stage presence is incredible, and she absolutely dominates the place,

I hope this gives you a feel for where Emma has come from, and more importantly, where she's going, there is no doubt that as long as her health situation doesn't worsen, she will be making bigger and better waves for a long time to come.
I want to close with my normal appeal to everyone reading or listening to this channel, for me, it's the most important part of my comments to reactions, Emma deserves and needs as much support as possible, as her foundation works to help find better treatments, or even possibly a cure for this awful disease, her foundation is almost unique in terms of the work they are doing, there's been very little research into what is a devastating illness, the effects on the sufferers are huge, and her situation hasn't changed since that first appearance with Andre last July, she is still tied to her two external feeding pumps for 22 hours a day, and I know from recent social media posts, she finds that hard to cope with at times, despite that she's loving the singing with Andre, which she regards as her therapy.
She posted some heart breaking photos and comments from her holiday in Portugal, having to use her wheelchair after a time swimming, even then, at a time when the family were relaxing and enjoying a break away from their normal lives, Emma had no relief, no escape from the mental and physical pain of having to live with the numbing discipline of the 22 hours every day with the pumps attached to her, her ongoing lack of stamina that hugely limits and impacts on her life and desire to be free, and she never talks about the physical pain that so often is a side effect of the failure of her stomach to properly process the contents, or the indescribable pain of the procedure to replace her feeding tubes, which she endures every 5 months, without anaesthetic, to avoid any risk of damage to her voice.
Her most recent change of stoma and feeding tubes (Her Mickey button) happened only 3 days before the first Vrijthof concert In Maastricht in July, and it went wrong, and took well over an hour compared to the normal 20 to 30 minutes, a video of the rehearsals the next day made it very evident that she was still suffering, she had to wear a winter coat to keep warm, and this procedure has to happen every 5 months.
Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl
Please, if at all possible, join me in making a (regular) contribution to her foundation, to enable them to help patients like Emma, and research this awful disease that has affected her from birth, hopefully, the work of her foundation will find a cure.
Please also be very careful if you post or respond to anything from Emma on social media, her increased visibility has resulted in significant numbers of bad actors creating fake accounts, and looking for money to fund 'special operations', or to get access to fan web sales or VIP event tickets on payment of a significant initial membership fee, they are ALL fake, the ONLY valid web site that supports Emma and others like her is the gastrostars site, and she NEVER makes private message appeals for donations or support, and NEVER sends private messages or similar asking you to make contact, or log on to an external site to claim the wonderful ticket you've won, they are all fake and fraudulent.
One of the main people in Gastrostars is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in treating gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day.
It will be so good if the work of Emma's foundation can lead to a better treatment, or even a cure, which will free her to do more singing, and it may be people here who make that possible.

And what makes this performance even more impressive: just a few days before, Emma went through her periodic (every 5 months...) stomach surgery to replace the tubes. A few years ago she has made the (very brave) choice to go for "the hard way" to reduce risks for her vocal cords: without anesthesia. Normally it takes about 20 minutes, but this time the doctor needed an hour because it went a bit wrong"..... "Well, the day after she showed up at the final rehearsal, white as a sheet and in the thickest clothes imaginable. And here she is: performing the song to perfection. Yes, Emma might be small, but what a powerhouse she is at the same time. As André said last year: she is an example for all of us.

Thank you for this emotional reaction , we went to the concert of Andre Rieu at Maastricht , right in front of the stage at about 35 meters distance. Just as Emma started singing, an emotional bomb exploded in the square with the song DANCING ON THE STARTS and afterwards VOILA which earned a standing ovation for several minutes. Her beautiful voice touches your soul with the support of the orchestra, an evening to remember for a livetime. Also think that the audience love her mental strength with her illness and the loss of Emma's girlfriend Angela on May 5, 2023 ( ua-cam.com/video/0nIpN86mw6E/v-deo.htmlsi=qws5Z_xKe4mVi4sc ) for the performances of volia last year
