The thing about this game is, there are 2 types of bottom fraggers. The one that sucks, gets no kills, no team plays and don’t help the team. And then there’s the one that doesn’t get enough credit in the team for playing their role, getting info, support the team and smoke and flashes for you.
People don't know that not everything is about who got the most kills. Yesterday we lost the first 5 rounds because of our MVP, but I still don't blame him at the beginning because of his mental. At the end of the game he blames me for one mistake, so I remember him to the first 5 rounds we lost because of him than "Look at the scoreboard, I got the most kills." 😅😅😅

In the Fracture round that you started breaking down around the 13/14 minute mark, I noticed that your teammate figured out your comms were off and so started pinging the safe spot from KJ ult to communicate with you. While I understand that part of the point of this video was to help show that you don't need your teammates to win, I think it would have been helpful to point out that there are some low elo players who will do anything to try and communicate properly. We just aren't the best at it
Also, I'm fairly certain you probably noticed the safe spot before the teammate started pinging it, but it's still good to give credit to those of us who are at least trying our best to be helpful
I’m not gonna say you didn’t just out aim everyone but you just need to know the right move/tip/trick for the right moment and this proves it but I will say if you want to get out of the first 3 ranks iron, bronze, and silver you need to get better aim, and learn how to swing and learn how to use your util then you can focus on smart plays skillcapped posts
38:13 I don’t agree. The thing is I don’t have this high level minimap awareness. It really helps me if they call enemy positions or simple things they are going to do. In addition it feels like I am more alert if someone makes clear and calm calls. I am G3-P1 btw
That puts a lot of responsibility on your teammates, and relying on them for calls is going to in the long run hurt you quite a bit. You won't always have good teammates in ranked, you need to learn how to get that information yourself. Whether that's asking them what they're hearing, or looking up at the map yourself more, it's a very important skill to develop.
I swear most of these people commenting didn't even watch the whole video and/or cant properly absorb the info and philosophy you are trying to teach them and just complain, its no wonder they are stuck, they have the same mentality watching/commenting on this video as they do in video games, your real life perspective and philosophies mimic your gameplay style. When I play support role like omen, kayo or skye I call then use my utility the duelist doesn't enter the site In low elo people don't realise how important communication is, and then there are throwers, you discuss what we can do in the upcoming round, and they say shut the f up
As someone who tries to IGL on iron lobbies (but I still have a lot to learn about what strats we can make to win and IGL-ing) I've had a few "stfu"'s as I well, might be because I was talking a bit too much but idk if I can help it. Also it doesn't help that I'm usually the bottom frag either.... hurts my credibility just because I'm skill issued. But at least I can say that despite them I've been able to have crucially helpful comms as well ^^

I haven’t played this game in years. I was a day 1 player and played the first week and then I quit. I just hit top 500 in ow2. So I got bored and came back to valorant. And HOLY FREAKING Crap WHEN DIDNEVERYBODY GET SO GOOD. The first week the game came out nobody was NEARLY THIS GOOD. How much have I missed in years😭
This is called early game syndrome. Back when games first drop, the player base and community are still learning how to properly play and be efficient. Hell this is even a thing from act to act. Last chapter (or whenever chapter 8 was.) I peaked plat 2 for 3 consecutive acts in a row. After having taken a break from the game for even a half a year to a year my rank now is Bronze 2. People have just learned how to play more effectively and there’s a lot more resources available to get better at the game then there was back in chapter 1 where the meta was: trigger discipline, timing, aim, positioning. Now util matters a lot more, people have effectively learned how to use things to better their advantage, lineups which can be absolutely insane.
For real what do you think? Nobody knows how to play a game when it first drops. Although personally my first impression was that it's essentially CS Go with indie cutesy graphics.
We've all been struggling. I gave up on that fucking game like 6 years ago man. Been playing since before GO. Fuck that game man. At least in valorant people don't scream at me for having an average K/D in a match or having an off day here or there. Fucking community is toxic.

I do have to throw my teamon my back, i've mvped my last 8 games as one of the lowest ranks in the game(im gold two, lobbys are gold-dia) I've only won 4/8 of the games. This is also one of the hardest acts to rank up in because of the silent setback from riot, not to mention my peak is p2 and I have players that were dia, acs, and sometimes immo in my game.

@@YamenAlsbih The massive difference we're talking about isn't skill, its the fact that the lucky NA players don't have to deal with annoying frenchmen on their team that can't comprehend english and think you're calling their mom a whore when you're simply just adressing an issue with how the team is playing Aka, communication in NA is a million times easier because there is basically no language barrier and therefore people don't struggle as much with understanding each other If i played on NA servers, i could probably be high diamond instead of mid-plat rn simply because of the difference in communication
One thing I don't understand about the 'veterans' of this game.. How do you guys not learn from experience? The dumb sh*t I see even at ascendant lobbies. For example, flanking when the enemy KJ/Cypher/Chamber is still alive. They flank so slowly and when you tell them to hurry up they say they'll hear me flanking. Bruh their anti flank traps are still up. What difference does it make? Honestly there are times when I hear someone says they're hardstuck at a mid to low, my first assumption is that they're probably too dumb to rank up.
I’m not nearly to the level that you are although this video brings up a ton of extremely good points that even while I was plat I failed to see properly. Aim can help your engagements and smooth them out to be faster but if you continually take risky plays it increases your chances of your out-aim ability to die at practically 98% of the time. On a side note, you seem like an extremely chill player to play with and if I ever get the opportunity I’d honestly love to have a coaching session with you or even just to play a few matches and see what I could do better. Maybe you can see more than I can during vod reviews and help me climb even faster. Now I will say, my game sense has been completely lost and internet and sadly the lack of a headset now kinda hinders this massively but even being able to get back to being gold is enough for me atm tbh. I understand my limitations and generally don’t get too tilted at them (unless it gives me an in-game penalty due to not being able to re-join the match. That’s infuriating. But such is the life of a satellite internet player.)

its definitely possible. i deranked and had bronze 1's on my team and it was hell. they took spike to the opposite site constantly by themselves and went through mid over and over every round almost costing us the game. its weird how they do the same thing every round when its not working.... i begged them to stop but they just got pissy with me lol. ended up with 38 kills and we won. every round it was just me and my duo left. basically a 2v5. def possible if u deserve to rank up

Cool but smurfing as an immortal and getting out of low Elo doesn’t prove that it’s easy it’s gonna be easy for you because you’re way better. Being not only new to the game but also new to pc as a whole I’m in silver 1 right now and it feel like every other game someone on my team is leaving/going afk frequently, some Smurf on the other team is dropping 40 kills, or some of my team are actual aliens. There’s definitely a lot of improvement to be had but low ranks really are hell.
I've watched that video two times. First time when it just got out and few month later. During that months I stayed as a hard stuck silver player. When I watched it for the first time, i thougth how right the author is. Game sense can really get you out of low elo. And now I understand, that even no comms he is just a smurf, who fragged out every game with 25+ kills, 30+ sometimes, with more than 2 KD and won most of his gun duels. Even RoyalG with a Classic was usually outfragging in lower elo because of great fundamentals and huge experience. So this prooves just nothing. Okay, an Immortal player can get to Diamond with no comms, Astra only. Ot doesn't mean that you, being a silver player with silver aim and fundamentals can get to Diamond in a month. BS.

I think learning how to play smart is much more difficult than learnig how to aim well. If your aim sucks, you can try aimlabs or just play more, from time to time you will become better automatically. Maybe deathmatch is good to become better faster. But I am a complete Beginner, i cannot even play ranked because i am lvl 12, I picked Omen on lvl 4 and I am already winning almost every round, as a beginner... It is easy to explain why. I did know, this game isnt new. Tons of players played it before me, there must be some kind of meta tactics or guides. The first thing I did, was checking out the Agents, second was what is one of the best, third I decided for Omen because it is both a teamplayer and also a very good soloplayer. I watched some guides and even improved on my own. I played deathmatch a bit to get used to aiming in valor but what was more important, I needed to learn the maps from every angle possible. Then I figured out, i try to use my abilities too often or too early and tried to play more patient. In this time I learned so much about how other players play, how egoistic and dumb they rush, how stupid they use their abilitys. I just didnt want to be one of the stupid guys and reflected on my play. I recorded some parts in medal tv and showed it my more experienced friends and they gave me feedback. It is just a couple of weeks and it sounds like i am really in love with my self and the most annoying smartass in the world, but i am already better than 80% of the players in unranked. I oftenly face some lvl 250 reyna and think hmm... how can you play valorant for so long to get lvl 250 and still be that bad. It is fascinating. And actually I already learned the answer, but not in Valorant. I play Fifa Pro Clubs 11vs11 in an esports way, in a very good club in some leagues and we are one of the best teams and players. The reason why we are so good is actually simple. Because we "learn" the game. We read articles, we watch influencers, we speak about tactics. We all dont try to show off how fkn amazing we are, everyone tries to master the basic stuff. Something like how to not lose the ball... I mean, if you want to score and to win, you probably need the ball right. And in Valorant I experience similiar things. It is basic stuff like, if you want to win, you probably dont want to lose the spike in a very shitty place in a very shitty timing. Maybe, the spike guy should go in last on spot and not first. Just very basic stuff. Or who do you want to help with your smokes? You team or the enemy team. I oftely see smokers, who doesnt think about their smokes a single moment. And faking, yeah you can really outsmart people. Like using smokes that opponents need to path through and you can almost catch them on surprise everytime. Most people dont even understand, that going through a smoke is actually always a risk. But if I am omen, I can teleport from one smoke to another. I love this game, because playing smart is so rewarding in this game. And unlike in CS, in random matches you can actually really help in teamplay alot. If you have randoms in CS and they play bad, you cant do anything. You can try to be smart with your grenades, but you will always be limited in a way. Valorants agent system breaks this limit. But not in an OP way. You need to have skill. And thats so amazing about this game.
unranked is not a competition and it utilizes skill-based matchmaking meaning you go against other new players or low elo players that perform similar to you
That just means you have thousands of hours in FPS games (Let me guess, that's CS). And you just slightly learned the game. You were probably like 8-9th Faceit level and decided to try Valorant. It threw you to silver because you knew nothing of the game, then you adapted and got to diamond. Very doable imdeed
you can kind of say me my first fos is valorant. but still I'm playing it for 3 year by now and I'm just hit gold 1 or 2 for little time nost of the time. but i also know why. it have e year but real game whuch i play i don't know how much that time i really play and improve and this 6 months i improve so much idk how just it start feel like. and what i mean real game. because i have a f network with my phone half ir more then half time my ping go 1600 ping i throw my gane so many time because if that for me and my team. and i play 100+ ping most time now days 60ping. and thus just start i have f laptop i play on 1280×700 for some fps(still lag) and i get 60-70 fps on that and my game can crash any moment so that luck and sometimes freezing and because of my network i get error 84. and i still hit gold so I'm better and i keep getting so much better. that all and yes nit that poor just family think wast of money to get pc for game. but anyways I'm better 😊.
Just uninstalled this stupid game. Whether i win 14-12 or 13-7 i get 17rr being mvp no matter how many kills. And then lose 25 against opponents a full rank above me whereas my teammates are below me. no mmr or anything works.

Even if these guides are right, it only applies in lobbies where people are actually playing correctly, if u're playing against someone that have no idea what to do and do things randomly it just wont work, you can still ask them to do it but even if they try, there is a high chance they mess up

I haven’t played this game in years. I was a day 1 player and played the first week and then I quit. I just hit top 500 in ow2. So I got bored and came back to valorant. And HOLY FREAKING Crap WHEN DIDNEVERYBODY GET SO GOOD. The first week the game came out nobody was NEARLY THIS GOOD. How much have I missed in years😭
This is called early game syndrome. Back when games first drop, the player base and community are still learning how to properly play and be efficient. Hell this is even a thing from act to act. Last chapter (or whenever chapter 8 was.) I peaked plat 2 for 3 consecutive acts in a row. After having taken a break from the game for even a half a year to a year my rank now is Bronze 2. People have just learned how to play more effectively and there’s a lot more resources available to get better at the game then there was back in chapter 1 where the meta was: trigger discipline, timing, aim, positioning. Now util matters a lot more, people have effectively learned how to use things to better their advantage, lineups which can be absolutely insane.
For real what do you think? Nobody knows how to play a game when it first drops. Although personally my first impression was that it's essentially CS Go with indie cutesy graphics.

Only way to make it fair is by using a different sense and inverted mouse input i mean you might not be able to talk but you can still shot them like you do normaly
I do have to throw my teamon my back, i've mvped my last 8 games as one of the lowest ranks in the game(im gold two, lobbys are gold-dia) I've only won 4/8 of the games. This is also one of the hardest acts to rank up in because of the silent setback from riot, not to mention my peak is p2 and I have players that were dia, acs, and sometimes immo in my game.
Good video, but I have one question, Ive seen teammates (mainly my duelists) run onto site, and when I try to back them up it usually puts me in a bad situation and I die in the name of trying to swing with them or push with them, how do I fix this?

The massive difference we're talking about isn't skill, its the fact that the lucky NA players don't have to deal with annoying frenchmen on their team that can't comprehend english and think you're calling their mom a whore when you're simply just adressing an issue with how the team is playing
Aka, communication in NA is a million times easier because there is basically no language barrier and therefore people don't struggle as much with understanding each other

One thing I don't understand about the 'veterans' of this game.. How do you guys not learn from experience? The dumb sh*t I see even at ascendant lobbies. For example, flanking when the enemy KJ/Cypher/Chamber is still alive. They flank so slowly and when you tell them to hurry up they say they'll hear me flanking. Bruh their anti flank traps are still up. What difference does it make? Honestly there are times when I hear someone says they're hardstuck at a mid to low, my first assumption is that they're probably too dumb to rank up.

I’m not nearly to the level that you are although this video brings up a ton of extremely good points that even while I was plat I failed to see properly. Aim can help your engagements and smooth them out to be faster but if you continually take risky plays it increases your chances of your out-aim ability to die at practically 98% of the time. On a side note, you seem like an extremely chill player to play with and if I ever get the opportunity I’d honestly love to have a coaching session with you or even just to play a few matches and see what I could do better. Maybe you can see more than I can during vod reviews and help me climb even faster. Now I will say, my game sense has been completely lost and internet and sadly the lack of a headset now kinda hinders this massively but even being able to get back to being gold is enough for me atm tbh. I understand my limitations and generally don’t get too tilted at them (unless it gives me an in-game penalty due to not being able to re-join the match. That’s infuriating. But such is the life of a satellite internet player.)

its definitely possible. i deranked and had bronze 1's on my team and it was hell. they took spike to the opposite site constantly by themselves and went through mid over and over every round almost costing us the game. its weird how they do the same thing every round when its not working.... i begged them to stop but they just got pissy with me lol. ended up with 38 kills and we won. every round it was just me and my duo left. basically a 2v5. def possible if u deserve to rank up

Cool but smurfing as an immortal and getting out of low Elo doesn’t prove that it’s easy it’s gonna be easy for you because you’re way better. Being not only new to the game but also new to pc as a whole I’m in silver 1 right now and it feel like every other game someone on my team is leaving/going afk frequently, some Smurf on the other team is dropping 40 kills, or some of my team are actual aliens. There’s definitely a lot of improvement to be had but low ranks really are hell.

I've watched that video two times. First time when it just got out and few month later. During that months I stayed as a hard stuck silver player. When I watched it for the first time, i thougth how right the author is. Game sense can really get you out of low elo. And now I understand, that even no comms he is just a smurf, who fragged out every game with 25+ kills, 30+ sometimes, with more than 2 KD and won most of his gun duels. Even RoyalG with a Classic was usually outfragging in lower elo because of great fundamentals and huge experience. So this prooves just nothing. Okay, an Immortal player can get to Diamond with no comms, Astra only. Ot doesn't mean that you, being a silver player with silver aim and fundamentals can get to Diamond in a month. BS.

I think learning how to play smart is much more difficult than learnig how to aim well. If your aim sucks, you can try aimlabs or just play more, from time to time you will become better automatically. Maybe deathmatch is good to become better faster.
But I am a complete Beginner, i cannot even play ranked because i am lvl 12, I picked Omen on lvl 4 and I am already winning almost every round, as a beginner...
It is easy to explain why. I did know, this game isnt new. Tons of players played it before me, there must be some kind of meta tactics or guides.
The first thing I did, was checking out the Agents, second was what is one of the best, third I decided for Omen because it is both a teamplayer and also a very good soloplayer.
I watched some guides and even improved on my own. I played deathmatch a bit to get used to aiming in valor but what was more important, I needed to learn the maps from every angle possible.
Then I figured out, i try to use my abilities too often or too early and tried to play more patient. In this time I learned so much about how other players play, how egoistic and dumb they rush, how stupid they use their abilitys. I just didnt want to be one of the stupid guys and reflected on my play. I recorded some parts in medal tv and showed it my more experienced friends and they gave me feedback. It is just a couple of weeks and it sounds like i am really in love with my self and the most annoying smartass in the world, but i am already better than 80% of the players in unranked. I oftenly face some lvl 250 reyna and think hmm... how can you play valorant for so long to get lvl 250 and still be that bad.

And actually I already learned the answer, but not in Valorant. I play Fifa Pro Clubs 11vs11 in an esports way, in a very good club in some leagues and we are one of the best teams and players.
The reason why we are so good is actually simple. Because we "learn" the game. We read articles, we watch influencers, we speak about tactics. We all dont try to show off how fkn amazing we are, everyone tries to master the basic stuff. Something like how to not lose the ball... I mean, if you want to score and to win, you probably need the ball right.
And in Valorant I experience similiar things. It is basic stuff like, if you want to win, you probably dont want to lose the spike in a very shitty place in a very shitty timing. Maybe, the spike guy should go in last on spot and not first. Just very basic stuff. Or who do you want to help with your smokes? You team or the enemy team. I oftely see smokers, who doesnt think about their smokes a single moment. And faking, yeah you can really outsmart people. Like using smokes that opponents need to path through and you can almost catch them on surprise everytime.
Most people dont even understand, that going through a smoke is actually always a risk. But if I am omen, I can teleport from one smoke to another.
I love this game, because playing smart is so rewarding in this game. And unlike in CS, in random matches you can actually really help in teamplay alot. If you have randoms in CS and they play bad, you cant do anything. You can try to be smart with your grenades, but you will always be limited in a way. Valorants agent system breaks this limit.
But not in an OP way. You need to have skill. And thats so amazing about this game.
unranked is not a competition and it utilizes skill-based matchmaking meaning you go against other new players or low elo players that perform similar to you

That just means you have thousands of hours in FPS games (Let me guess, that's CS). And you just slightly learned the game. You were probably like 8-9th Faceit level and decided to try Valorant. It threw you to silver because you knew nothing of the game, then you adapted and got to diamond. Very doable imdeed

you can kind of say me my first fos is valorant. but still I'm playing it for 3 year by now and I'm just hit gold 1 or 2 for little time nost of the time. but i also know why. it have e year but real game whuch i play i don't know how much that time i really play and improve and this 6 months i improve so much idk how just it start feel like. and what i mean real game. because i have a f network with my phone half ir more then half time my ping go 1600 ping i throw my gane so many time because if that for me and my team. and i play 100+ ping most time now days 60ping. and thus just start i have f laptop i play on 1280×700 for some fps(still lag) and i get 60-70 fps on that and my game can crash any moment so that luck and sometimes freezing and because of my network i get error 84. and i still hit gold so I'm better and i keep getting so much better. that all and yes nit that poor just family think wast of money to get pc for game. but anyways I'm better 😊.

Just uninstalled this stupid game. Whether i win 14-12 or 13-7 i get 17rr being mvp no matter how many kills. And then lose 25 against opponents a full rank above me whereas my teammates are below me. no mmr or anything works.
If they are a rank above u the game thinks u deserve a higher rank just play more
It just means you dodge a lot of games or stay AFK from time to time.

And another problem is that smurf in every game, if the smurf is in other team you will lose. And if the smurf on your team you wont be able to get much kills and gain less rr
