Fun Fact: The difficulty of VS. Com always stays at "Level 4" no matter which Level you set the switch to. The Levels only change Single Player Mode and Puzzle Mode.
There's also supposed to be Black Pierot as the very final boss following Empress. Perhaps it is not in this version or do you have to sweep across all opponents w/o losing?
@cubex55 Actually they do have the same layout but what happens is that each character has an attack pattern that they send over when you combo to the opponent. That's what the power rating is, the higher the power rating the nastier the attack pattern... so i guess, yes, it's not fair lol
Jojo edition The fool-iggy The star-jotaro kujo The devel-devo of curse The chariot-jean pierre polnareff The high priestess-midler The magican-muhammad avdol The world-DIO The justice-enya geil Strength-forever The empress-nena
It would be nice to see this played in a harder level. Level-1 is the easiest you can play. Change the settings in the NEO-GEO bios. You can also play on best-of 3, 5 or 7, instead of just once for each enemy. See NEO-GEO bios settings.
When fighting strength: "Should I be the one who should know EXACTLY WTF 'GIGOR! Luciour!!' meant???!?!" on top of my little 12 1/2 yr old gal brain can fit...WTF??! XDDD (reffering to the JPN Version of this)
I made sure to set this games language to the Japanese bios, no more annoying Spanish voice, but the voices for each character instead. The English version of this one and 3 really irritate me.
I really don't understand why they cut out the individual voices out in the English version, and replaced it instead with some random voice that just shouts out stuff like "oh no"! It's not like there wasn't games on the Neo-Geo that had Japanese voice acting in their US versions. My guess is that they worried that people would think the characters were saying something inappropriate in Japanese, so they decided to just dub the voices in English and give every character the same "Oh no" or whatever the voices say. It also very well could have been that voice actors were too expensive and not important enough for them to hire.
This game fills me with so much joy, whether I’m actually playing it at one of our local pizza places or just watching others play it :)
Vamos!... Bravo!... Si!... Buen Trabajo!
Cuidado!
Go! Nice! Yeah! Good job! Watch out!
That's because it's playing the Europe version of the game. The US has even fewer voices, while Japan has distinct voices for each character.
ONe of the fastest puzzle games out. And my all time favorite!

She's called "The World", as in the tarot card. I prefer her and "The Empress".
Before Puyo Pop. Nostalgic, although really short lived.
I jus tnoticed they speak in spanish "bravo" "cuidado" and "buen trabajo" when you win xD

@Imadjinn Technically, that would be Magical Drop III, but yeah, the same series.
The title is kinda funny if you think about it. It's called Magical Drop..and what do you drop? Balls.
Droppin' Balls, man. Droppin' balls.
Oh man, you missed the Black Pierrot by a smidge.
