Man…… I use to think you have some serious issues with you getting carried away with inventions. But after watching this video there are no more doubts.
Great review, Doug. Looks like a great alternative to the heavy gas powered pole saws like I now have. All of the adjustments to the handle and head are well thoughtout. Thanks!
Of the dozen wood yarder channels that ive viewed consistanly over the last year, Your vidieos are the one that stands out as the most improved of all of them. And that is saying a lot, i am very picky. Your vids are in the top 12 , for sure . When you consider that there are forty eight people that are attempting to do the same thing but failing , From my perspective. Nice job on a well done presentation.
DOUG, I think you like it a lot cause of the color scheme? Lol A nice added benefit bout the swivel head is cuttin a high branch, the saw shouldn't bind as the limb drops. AND ,.... 'Manny Modifier' I'm sure you'll put other 'tweeks' to it ! Lol
Very cool polesaws Doug! I wonder if your mount would fit my small ms192t climbing saw?? Would be significantly lighter than your 462… maybe something we have to try some day…!
If I understood to oil the bar you need to pump the ball looks like it should be an automatic oiler to make it easier to get enough oil on. How often do you need to oil chain when continually cutting ? I enjoy all your vidioes because the good ideas.i get.The off site tours to manufacturer businesses are interesting. Thank you. Seems like a easy to use tool, quiet too. I’m not real big into battery tools, not to say I don’t own any, cause I do. You pointed out the oil bulb - is it a manual oiler? Amazon Link doesn’t say so. Thanks Doug & Adam!
That does look like a nice pole saw. I have a different brand. I went with one that I already was into that battery platform, so it gives me extra batteries. They are really nice when you just need to cut a branch or two off, but I have been pleasantly surprised how long the battery will last. I usually try to make a small cut on the underside of the branch first (when cutting closer to the trunk) so that the branch doesn't want to dangle when I get almost through. Then I make a cut all the way through from the top side down close to the trunk so that I have a nice looking cut. Is the chain oiler automatic on this little beast? The amazon link says that it is tool free chain adjustment, but it looks like you have to loosen the nut in your video?
It is a manual oiler, and should not leak when not in use. Yes, it requires a tool for the bar nut but not to do the actual adjustment. I’m not sure why they state tool free?
No I have not. The only thing I would suggest checking is if you can get additional chains from them or what standard chain would work. I haven’t needed one yet so i haven’t looked into replacing one yet.
Only thing is like to have seen is. A measurement of how high you vould actually use it safely and proficiently. Nine feet ? ( Measured) 11 ft. ? 12 ft.? And then the same with adam. That would have been benificial . ( Can't believe the Stat master general missed that piece of data 😄😄 )
My father would tell me to un-loosen things too. To which I would ask you want me to tighten it? Of course he worked for the Dept for Redundancy Dept. Thanks for the laugh. Whish my Dewalt pole saw would do that.
So, I’m pretty sure I heard you both say that Doug’s pole is longer than Adam’s …. 😂 And I thought this was a family friendly channel! 🤦♂️😂🤣😂🤣 Sorry, couldn’t resist, as it was just too easy!
If they're your neighbors and they didn't invite you to the BBQ, then I'm gonna get out my V8 powered open headers chain saw and rattle windows a 1/2 mile away.

I am a Ryobi guy and was just out using mine today ,runs like a champ on 18 volts ,best tool in my shed.
Another great video Doug. Always a smile on your face.
That’s a nice one! I expect you’ll see lots of sales on this one!
Man…… I use to think you have some serious issues with you getting carried away with inventions. But after watching this video there are no more doubts.
Thank you!!!
I did buy one and though I've only used it once so far, I love it. The ability to use just the saw without the pole is great!!
Awesome, hope it works out well for you!
Cool saw but I don't like the manual oiler because everything else I have is automatic oilers and I would probably forget to oil it.
Great review, Doug. Looks like a great alternative to the heavy gas powered pole saws like I now have. All of the adjustments to the handle and head are well thoughtout. Thanks!
All my cordless tools are DeWalt, therefore I bought one of theirs. Works good, comes in about 4' Lengths. Works great.
That thing looks as handy as shirt pockets

Awesome, thank you so much!!!
I appreciate that!!
I have an 18 volt Milwaukee pole chain saw which I love.
That thumbnail cracks me up.
Thanks

Now thats a pole saw . Goes back to the Tool man
Lol, it is funny how you two holler back and forth at each other. Great job with the review. Take care 👍
Thanks, you too!

If you want, we can make one.
I like it, I think I might order one! One question, are replacement chains readily available?
I’m sorry, I have no idea. I haven’t asked them that. It would be worth contacting them to find out.
Super Nice 👍🏻👍🏻
Well 🤔 I've read all the comments and no one has ask the yellow & black question. Will a DeWalt 20 volt battery run that thing?
No sir, that is the very first thing I tried when I got it. 😔
That was awesome Doug remember everybody hit the like button and share it on social media
Thanks Bill!!
More than anything else you both friends 😉 pull each other's legs well. More so Adams.
The Gravely Chainsaw on a telehandler.... that's next!
That has me thinking!

I would oil the bar about every 20 to 40 min of cutting
@@OneEyeCustoms thank you for responding Tom from Nebraska

I'll still take the MS 462!

Dude the clip pic made me click! LOLOL you didn’t disappoint!
Two months later have you have any issues with this pole saw. I m interested in buying one.

What do you use the cane with gold handle (between the snap on drawers)
It is a novelty item.

It’s a handful

I’m pretty sure we are not going to compare them side by side! But I think Adam is correct. 😂😂
😂 Fun review! 👍. Does it use a standard chain size?….or do you just buy a new saw when you’ve filed the “teeth” away?
I’m not sure yet if you can get a replacement chain. I will check.
Doesn't unloosen=tighten? 😀
👀

Love it!!!
I guess running time on a single full charge should be asked???
I trimmed for about an hour and it still had a full charge after I was done for the day.
I’m sorry, I can’t watch this. If it’s not Stihl or Echo asking….. Stihl kombi with pole saw and extension.
