The manager of the theatre: "There at the stage are children !" I think that almost all the children already were to watch here at YT before the musical came to Hamburg (?). Add to this: I think that all the parents watching their children here at YT are very proud of (?).
Wonderful, like most of the kids who got to play Billy. I was a dancer at that age, but nowhere near good enough for this role . . . was never good enough though I earned my living dancing for 22 years. What a dream this would have been.

Sorry, that musical never was performed here in Deutschland with German protagonists... That of course was/is very sadly ! By the way: John Neumeier as the director of the ballet school here in Hamburg - well known world wide - was attending the premiere... with Emile Gooding as Billy.

In the final show with Haydn I have "lost" all my recordings because the manager of the theatre demanded that...:((( He: "There at the stage are children !"

If parents wanted to keep their children anonymous, they would not have put them on stage in a huge musical like Billy Elliot :)

Did they ever have a German Billy Elliot show? Seems rather unpractical to have Brits come over to perform the show in Germany.
