I love this so much I had to give it a try. I could not find any wood rulers so I end up using their plastic rulers. I cut them in half and after attaching I added chicken wire ribbon I had and then covered the rulers in twine to help attach the chicken wire. I also used the tumbling tower blocks to make the bottom. I absolutely love the way it turned out. Thank you.

I never thought of using rulers before now! I've been wanting to make this but I couldn't figure out a cheap wood alternative! I'm heading to my Dollarama once the snow stops!
I love DIY. I'm a crafter and any type of box for storage is cool. They are even better if they have attractive decorations. I'd use it for storing my paint brushes, sizzors and crafting/ jewelry making tools

If you made one to perhaps hold school pencils or such like ..you could perhaps leave the rulers in tact and use them as they are. 🙃 good project might have a go.🌷

It is adorable! Just want to share a tip. When cutting the foam core use a new blade and you will get sharp crisp cutting lines instead of jagged ones. Helping to give a feel of wood.
