You know I was going to correct you on this. Dolphin is a good pick. Makes sense. However the question is not the inspiration for Rorschach. Both Rorschach and the question were inspired by Mr A. Moore's band even has a song called Mr A. Moore has repeatedly mentioned his inspiration for Rorschach is Mr A. He had to tone down Rorschach compared to Mr A as Mr A was way to violent. Lol. I'm sure there is truth to that, but part of me thinks Moore likes to say that to make himself sound a lil more avant garde than he is. The whole Watchmen team is clearly plucked from that Charleton line of heroes. Pretty unusual that Rorschach would be the one character that wasn't. Its probably more like Question was the original reference but then he used Mr. A as an inspiration after the fact to inform how he wrote him.
