MLS commentators never explained why Seattle's second goal was taken away, it looked good from the angle shown. Sounders got burned.
I'm struggling to see why as well. It had to have been deemed offside by the narrowest of margins, is the only explanation I can come up with.
I’m pretty sad about that call
The highlight angle is tough. My speculation is that Vargas' walking dummy was deemed an offside offense by interfering with an opponent ("making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball" - Law 11) - i.e., causing the defender to hesitate until the ball was past.

the pass was for the Seattle player that was offside but he moved out the way n created another play, which confused the defender, thats why they scored and didnt count. thats an illegal play
