Vocals, guitars, rhythm section, everything about Wand is amazing. Each time I listen to the album "Laughing Matter", I discover new details that enchant me. I am never bored with this music. I hope there will be a new album soon. I'm a fan of all the ones that have been released (as well as Cory Hanson's solo albums.)

It's hard not to miss the fuzzy heavy Wand, but there's no denying that they're pretty goddamn great at making this kind of atmospheric music too. It's way better than most of the "intellectual" rock music that's popular. also, this is great nighttime driving music.
This was my first introduction to wand- the whole 2019 album. Idk if I would have loved them as much as I do now if it weren't for this sound evolution. Very radioheady

Ok actually I can hear the Thom yorke in the vocals for sure Still think these guys are quite original tho! Saw them live a while back, and I think they're the best sounding rock band I've ever seen. Unique and pummeling guitar tones like no other

it's not like they just ignore the rest of their discography! Sure, their new sound is more pop oriented and "intellectual", but Everything up to 1000 days still exists and it's still pretty heavy. I get it that they aren't really doing the stoner metal thing anymore, but they still play some of the old tunes live!
