- AMAZING relay-logic Schindler Haughton traction elevators with I presume to be DC motors based on how they were running. Classic "Haughton"-style fixtures with bells! Incredibly unique and rare elevators which I believe are slated for modernization.
These are definitely some late Schindler Haughtons and by the way they run they are definitely on the Miconic logic… Schindler Haughton used it between 1979 and their folding in 1989 as a subsidiary of Schindler Group. Sad that these are getting modded, what an incredible elevator system.
The fixtures look like what was seen in the 1st Die Hard movie on one of the elevators.
Got these just in time, they’re in the process of modding as of last week
Yes! One is boarded up. These things are gems I'm surprised they haven't gotten more attention. Was up there for the train show and glad I stopped in!
Why am I not surprised these are getting ruined... -_-
@@stfplumbingelevatorsandmorebecause you probably haven't been able to get certain parts for these in a long time
Just got my final rides in. As of today, two elevators are working, one is boarded up, and another has clearly visible LED lights in the shaft.
Still curious on who is doing the mod. My take of this should hopefully be going up in a couple days
Schindler
I think the elevators in the office building attached to this are labeled as Milar
Capcity 3000? 3000 what? Bananas? People? Toasters? haha
Too bad these are getting modded. There aren't many schindler haughtons left, especially in the northeast.
