That moment when he realizes that he's forfeitted the rest of his life to guilt, shame, humiliation and more. That in his tough guy routine, he destroyed himself, his mother, his family, his community. It was clear early on that he was the older brother. He was conflicted between maintaining his leader status, picking on lil bro, and the part of him that wanted to protect lil bro. Yes, that emotion was there, too. A beautiful story. The actor playing the older bro did a wonderful job, conveying with facial expression what could never be said in words. Kudos for a movie whose story will stay with me for a long time.
You could tell they were siblings way earlier than the final scene. I knew from the first interactions that they were brothers. Terribly sad story though.
This is beyond outrageousness. This is why you don’t peer pressure people into doing stuff. Ya’ll think before you do stuff. You life is more important than proving something to someone.
Bullying is Lethal, but many will never feel the Evil & Pain they've done to others, they have no soul. Look at what's rising in our nation and around the world now, a society being taken over by bullies and we've seen nothing yet people.
I would have given anything to have been there. The big boy with balls of steel or so he thought would have cried in front of all his friends after I had got done with him.. & I would have just stood there laughing
No siblings subjected each other to horrors. A gang of strange, bully, older boys subjected an unrelated, younger boy to horrors of airgun shootings and climbing dangerous heights. No fractious family relationships were portrayed. On the contrary, the young boy, his younger sister and their mother had loving, closely-bonded relationships with each other.
The boy who leads the gang of teens is in fact his older brother. You can read about that and how the film was made in our interview with Barnaby the director directorsnotes.com/2024/09/11/barnaby-blackburn-pylon/
They were siblings i knew from their faces or eyes which were compared to each other but why the young man has emphasised on him or became him in Honor to go towards electricity tower because it's dangerous due short circuit. furthermore there weren't any mistake of litte kids 😊
Interesting that the shirtless guy they chose has some excess fat -- no abs. Usually they cast a part like that with a fit boy. But it's a good story of teenage stupidity, which we might all have been guilty of.

One of the hardest hitting short films about bullying and potential effects

Thank you for the insightful comment
Hmm, Well the film lost all meaning with an ending that left the little boy still up the pylon!.
Bullying your own brother is the most disgusting thing.
Outstanding performances all round.
...I cant imagine the guilt that kid will endure for the rest of his life...
They were siblings. The teen called her Mom in the end. So the young boy is his brother.
You could tell they were siblings way earlier than the final scene. I knew from the first interactions that they were brothers. Terribly sad story though.
I'd say "hell yeah I'm afraid of height's and hell no I'm not going up there!"
What happened to the little boy? Did he reach the top and stay there? Did he manage to climb down? Did he fall?

The burden of guilt will haunt him for the rest of his life, knowing what he did to his own younger brother. It's like a living death.😭
Even though it is just a short drama, but i still feel sad for the poor boy and his mom.
It really does hit hard in those final moments. Thanks for watching.
Louis Thresher's acting was awesome. He has a future pursuing that gift.
💯
Apparently this was his younger brother. So he killed his mum as a result of bullying his younger brother that bad.
What happened to the younger boy who climbed up the pylon
Carrot makes it all the way to the top only to join his mum sitting on the power line.
his name being carrot😂😂
I would have given anything to have been there. The big boy with balls of steel or so he thought would have cried in front of all his friends after I had got done with him.. & I would have just stood there laughing
So, what happened to the little brother?

The chief bully was the climbing boy's brother. The dead woman is their mother.
@@mikephalen3162 Thanks for the clarification. I don't know how I missed that information.

I demand my eleven minutes back. And an eye-wash. I have seen commercials with better writing and plot. Most of them, actually.
Then why comment you hypocrite
STOP BULLYING TEENAGERS FOR KIDS SO BAD 👇
Sinceramente história ridícula! O menino era seu irmão? Matou a própria mãe? Pois nada fez.
