I’m seeing this wayyy after you posted it, but I just want to say that this made me so happy! I’m Electrical Engineering in the US and I’m in my third year, but everything you said in this is DEFINITELY applicable to all divisions of engineering. I wish people wouldn’t be so intimidated by these myths in the first place, so thank you THANK YOU for making this 💕
Hey girl, loved the video! I’m also a civil engineering major, but I’m a third year! So happy to stumble across your video, it’s nice to see another civil out there. I was laughing at these myths because of how relatable my answers were to yours. Definitely agree with Number 3 lol! Love from NYC AND CT💕
You’re so lucky! The ratio for my school guy:girl is horrendous. I’m literally the only first-year girl in my civil class. There’s 4 or 5 civil girls total. (Probably 50 guys)
Hi I just subscribed and much love from South Africa, I love your videos. I plan on majoring in Civil Eng. in 2022, but you said that you do a separate module for Architecture; is that part of your the syllabus for Civil Eng.? If not how did you go about applying for that module?..... hope that makes sense lol
Just received an offer from the University of Southampton to study Sociology and Criminology!🙌🏾🙌🏾 I just wanted to say thank you ‘cos I wouldn’t even have applied if it wasn’t for your videos 🥰
Hi, could you be a little more specific about the schemes that you mentioned or any possible websites where I could find more information please. Thank you!
Uchechi Ezeakachi hello, so there’s QUEST www.ice.org.uk/careers-and-training/quest-scholarships . There is also SUCCESS which is scholarship run by the University of Southampton for civil engineering students, they’ll tell you more about it in first year. I’m thinking of uploading a video all about placements and scholarships. Hope I’ve helped :)
